I was kinda hooked to this game when I first saw it. Like that cartoonish vibe going on. Bought it, saw that it got VERY MIXED reviews (couldn't care less about it), I'm deciding on whether I like the ambience, gameplay etc and I couldn't understand why people dislike it. I have tons of fun playing it, when I downloaded it yesterday I played like 10-12h straight, today for ~6h or so (not counting the several crashes but I think I fixed it) and goddamn, this game is such a fun time, I'm just chilling. Don't need to think about anything, just slashing, looting, playing through the story and enjoying the funny/humorous tids and bits.

Or take the reviews with a grain of salt. To many people below an 8 means a failure. Wtf. Tbis game was made by twenty people sure it's impressive and yes the price is a little high (so maybe get it on sale) either way I am still having loads of fun. Plus the latest patch fixed a lot.

If you enjoy piss poor platforming mechanics then I guess it's enjoyable. The wall jumping/running is completely sh*t when continously crashing into ledges. If the mechanics weren't such trash everyone wouldn't resort to to using either the mushrooms, mucus ball and anything else besides the actual wall jumping. Game isn't bad at all just needs a massive mechanics improvement

Does everyone remember just how empty the map for Fallout New Vegas was before mods, and dlc? I sure do. I was surprised at just how many buildings, so with map markers, that had no interior. Several of the mines were cut and paste copies of each other. I still loved the game. Never let someone else do your thinking for you, especially these days.

Regarding super wung-fu: you don't have to use 3 DIFFERENT special attacks, 2 are enough. The rule is not to use same attack twice in a row. Let's say you have 3 special attacks unlocked (attack A, attack B and attack C). To fill the super wung-fu gauge you can use them in a following order A, B, A (without using C). I don't know if it's a bug though.

One thing new school players fail to realize, in a game with free roam exploration, is exploration is fundamentally very essential AND everything is important eventually. Us veterans dont need a guide video to tell you that those piles of dirt that say “search” and give you resources are important because you will need those resources eventually. We already searching that and we know to look around corners, and make sure we got all the information out of NPCs. New school gamers now just skip side quests and rush through the end of the story just to say they beat a game. Where’s the appreciation for the craft anymore? Where is thrill of exploring a new world and discovering things on your own and only coming to the guide videos because you’ve been stuck in a spot for days and you’ve exhausted yourself trying to figure out. I appreciate videos like this, I dont have the game yet, this video really made me want to get the game after seeing what its all about. But it dawned on me, after listening to how content creators seem to have to tell people, “this may not seem important but it is.” Kids these days really only want instant gratification, like really badly. Please learn to enjoy games like this more for what they are at your own pace. Its nice to have guides like this to fall back on, but dont cheat yourself out of a better experience and satisfaction of figuring something out on your own, before rushing to a guide to have someone else explain all the tips and secrets for you.

All I gotta say is seems like reviewers bombed it for not being a AAA title, and we’ll look at no mans sky.. From launch to now, for a small dev team I think it’s going to be fun as hell, and with a little tlc it’ll be a lot more streamed a year from now so far looks good enough for me to want to dive into it!

@@manbat1011 I really hope this is the case, when no man's sky came out I also bought it because I liked the look and feel of the game and now it's one of the best games out there period. I hope the same happens with biomutant, either they update it constantly or they release a biomutant 2 with all the features poeple are asking for. Because I feel this game could literally be perfect if they fix some issues like long dialog and floaty combat.

Dude hello games are a needle in a haystack. If you expect other game developers to follow in their footsteps you’ll be very disappointed. Look at cyberpunk. They’ve barely even bothered to improve their core mechanics.

I've heard that the resources you get from breaking down items are the same regardless of quality or rarity and that it is a better idea to sell the items you don't want to give yourself a boost early on.

I mean, you'll want to break down the lower quality items regardless, because you'll keep the high grade ones for higher levels....duh. I haven't tested it too extensively, but scrapping higher grade items only gives marginally better resource output. Might be a bug, but higher grade stuff might better be sold (since they cost a lot more) or be worn.

nice vid but a little additional info about the psi points u also get them from rescuing captives as well as light or dark aura depending on whether u help or hinder after killing the enemies, also to help rank up that light or dark aura quicker if u catch small critters again u get the option to be nice and pet them or nasty and kill them lol

Thank you for the help. How do you preset gear? Like special suites like oxygen for each biome? I can’t seem to figure out how to preset it even after getting the oxygen suite-I have to manually equip each piece of gear.

Select an outfit slot( 1,2,3,4 or 5) > equip stuff > done, that’s the outfit and you can switch back and forth from it

Us gamers just want one thing, and that's to have fun! Trust your own judgment, if you believe that you'll have fun playing Biomutant (or any other game) then that's exactly what will happen (unless you set your expectations too high like Cyberpunk lol). Low-level awareness people are impressionable, easily influenced and susceptible to suggestions. It's a breath of fresh air to see gamers like you, knowing what you like regardless of what some other people say.

The "Reviewers" got it way wrong with this one. I was hesitant about this game. I pre ordered it and then, was on a beach trip when all of the Reviews started to pour in. I decided to just try it for myself and I'm so glad I did! I'm loving this game just as much as a AAA open world title.

In my opinion, game is an amalgamation of AAA open world tropes, and a love letter to older 4th wall breakers like earthbound (certain characters are modeled and named after mother 2, and 3) The out of date character in my mind is a combo of big boss from mgsv (similarities to ahab, being the last of his kind) as well as Gherman from blood borne. Don’t think I have to explain that one. Those are just a few similarities I have noticed, however one more main thru-line I wanted to mention is the “f Bethesda” message portrayed through the backstory of the world where the humans ruined it by overusing radioactive technology that was originally great, but eventually began to mutate and change the world (gaming industry) around it. It refuses to be anything other than exactly what you want it to be, and I think that’s great.

There is trick maybe you can show it if you get chance. Using the mushroom and pressing levitate just before going onto it gives you a huge leap helps alot in crossing rivers climbing high to reach places etc

I haven’t tested that. What determines loot quality the most seems to be the level of your character followed by loot % modifier stat. The higher level I had, the more high grade gear I was finding. There are specific drops though that come with de qualities ( high star ultimate and legendary item) I got a few vids ready for those

I’m hyped up for this game it’s dl now I’ve seen some of the early game play from some and my take is this play the game stat playing it then look at the reviews because I find that if I don’t watch reviews but look for videos like these tips and tricks while playing the new games I enjoy them more one reviews option should not discourage you for playing it

Side note, for the wu special ability, really only need to use 2 different abilities 3 times, for instance can use ability for 1 charge, use different ability for second charge, and for third can use reuse the first again. Just FYI

This game is so, so so much fun! please inform the developers MANY people love their work and see the beautiful craftmanship that is incredibly evident within this game. 10/10. Love it! In fact, I can't wait to jump back in; I have forced myself away from it to show support in the face of the hastely over-critical and inaccurate RU-vidr view(s). Bravo Experiment 101 ^_^

What I find a true shame is how many bad reviews this game got when its literally top tier. Mind you I am talking about games such as red dead, genshin impact, witcher 3, ghost of tsushima, and sleeping dogs to which such titles have created their own hemisphere. Biomutant is ridiculously brilliant and stand equally with such titles. I respect the opinions of the bad reviews but there have been many games that were suppose to be in "good review" and they we just fluffed up pieces. In my opinion I think the team who created this should get game of the year.. There is so much to it... And If they continue to add on to the game....omg. So let's support this game because its rare to find a genuine game which actually delivers in both great content and originality

If you launch enemies in the air and do some combos press the Jump button again while in air and do combos again until they die. If an infinite loop. I hope I explain it right lol

im frustrated cus idk when to roll/dodge vs parry? whenever i try fighting big enemies they rarely seem to give me the chance to parry. If anyone has tips on this (parry timing/roll timing) that would be super great. I also am coming from breath of the wild where anything could be parried or dodged.

Max Payne 3 did it. They did something like only the characters directly in front of the player using bullet time were affected. I don't quite remember but I think the player was slowed down for everyone, was almost 10 years ago so don't quite remember

I’m convinced whoever says melee sucks, did not play the full game or the proper way. There are some ultimate melee weapons in this game that simply wreck. Yes a deadeye with double AR damage can own, but saying melee is not strong is just false.

The issue is, guns are easier it seems. Watching Cohh and Pewdie play, I noticed that they played safe. Staying back and shooting. Not mixing it up with combos. Not trying to do any real Wong Fu. They would even unlock abilities and promptly forget to use them. It hurt to watch, but it probably explains why some reviews were they way they were.

thats because its releasing at the exact same time for everyone(for a particular platform). There is already a week old FAQ telling when the game actually drops. Thats just how global releases happen. If everyone unlocked at midnight on a particular date, then US would unlock a whole 24 hrs before Japan. Also, there is no preload because the game is too small for steam's minimum preload size requirement

Can’t wait to play it, but there 2 minor things i don’t like about the game. One being the character customization. In my opinion not really a huge variety in the different type of breeds which is upsetting. Like you fight tiger and alligator looking dudes, so why can’t we create characters that are tigers or alligators. And my second is the voice narration. Its cool, but in all honesty would of love if all the characters were voiced, including yourself.

I love that the animals don't talk normally, sometimes it comes across as awkward. Instead, they speak a different language. Think about it, we are playing as a non-human character, that evolved away from what we know now. It makes sense, for immersion, to have a narrator speaking English on the behalf of the mutated animals for the player. Besides, I think they did that to minimize production costs lol.

I'm kinda pissed everyone talks about how easy this game is. It might aswell be dark souls. The difference being every encounter is a boss fight, with tons of adds, that never stop exploding, immune to gun fire, and stumble spam as soon as you get withing 20 feet of anyone.

Wait for a sale. It's a singleplayer game, better for you to get a good deal on a game you end up loving, than paying full price for a disappointing game. If you wait for the sale you can maybe even buy the DLC that lets you get the mercenary class for less than full price. I never regret buying a game on sale, especially when its single player and I'm not missing out on multiplayer lobbies or seasons. Just my 2 cents.

Man sort by stat not alphabetically. Also on the resource totems the more times you hit them the more resources you will get. I do unstoppable pig on them and get 5 resources almost every time vs the 2 I was getting before.
