That Macku\Hewkii scene was one of my favorites as a kid, if only for the complete and utter hilarity that was Jaller walking in on them. First time we watched this me, my sister and my Mom just about died laughing. XD
@@tomvhresvelg9286 She is, all Ga-Korans are. And yes, sooooo many of the female toa had BUTT UGLY masks in the later years. Even Gali Nuva's mask couldn't hold a candle to the gorgeous design lines of the original. Toa Nokama was the only one who dodged that bullet in all three of her forms, IMHO.
Nuparu was always the most badass motherfucker. Not only did he build giant kill machines to fight the other kill machines, but the dude wore an orange mask in onu-koro. That is fashion innovation right there.
Screw Greg's comment on love being cannon.... if Emmet from The Lego Movie has it and it's cannon, Bionicle gets it too XD How else would there be more Matorians? lol
13:18 I call bs on love not Bing canon. She was clearly about kiss him right before jaller or jala walk in. And she gave him an I'm gonna kill you look to jaller.
I love how Taipu, Nuparu, and Onepu, react to seeing the disabled Gahrak. Taipu fell over out of shock. He may be strong, but he overreacts when spooked a little too much, not to mention him playing around with parts of the Gahrak, much to Nuparu's annoyance. ROFL!!
6:04 It's so weird seeing Taipu with a Ruru like that. In MNOG the art style was simple enough to not notice and in all other sources he has a Pikari. Eidt: You left out the "I'm an engineer not a poet" line!
Hafu is a fucking beast.. sacrifices his life and hard work to save his people, and yet still willing to fight the borok. Thank fuck pohatu saved him though.. thank fuck...
I remember on the old BZP forums (which are STILL offline, grumble grumble), there was a topic called "MNOLG: The Movie" or something like that. It actually had the animations with the original pacing and music syncing... basically, higher quality than what BS01 has. I downloaded these high-quality versions onto my other computer. Maybe I can see about sending them to you if I get the chance.
I really think these animations suffer from new computers. They lose some of their original pacing when updated flash players up the speed, and the music somewhat goes out of sync. Is somebody ever going to address that?
