Well plot armor is where the main character can go through any situation no matter how deadly and survive it no matter how statistically insignificant the odds How insignificant? From common to literally impossible to the point where we just ignore that it was impossible and say plot happened. And how does that give her the ability to do the same neck-snapping thing? Ah well, sometimes plot armor needs a weapon to go with it in a fight so just through in the recon blade which not only cuts through any troubles they have in front of them but cuts through the continuity of everything you've done until this point. To be fair, it _is_ supposed to show how _Harley_ sees Gotham and its people. Granted, it's a very different Harley, but it has _some_ logic to it. It would be nice if they showed the difference a few times, though.

Renee Montoya was disregarded too. She is supposed to be the most "by the book" cop in Gotham, unwilling to accept any form of compromise with evildoers like Harley. Renee would willingly choose breaking over bending and so the harley team up would end up at best with Renee betraying Harley at the very first opportunity. Mostlikely Renee wouldn't have believed Harley at all.

Cause Bruce could be the hyena, and that would have actually been a clever meta-joke to show the hyena's parents getting killed on the Serengeti by lions who were then killed by poachers and the hyena Bruce was picked up by a conservation group before Harley kidnapped him from them.
