Kai is really home. He is flourishing and in this video he is so relaxed and his personality is shinning without reservation or fear.. He looks so happy and is already showing trust because he feeling is safe and loved. He is a beautiful kid just like Anthony. Peter and Anthony you are a good father and brother. I love watching your videos. They are positive and shows a giving spirit and the good results that comes from those qualities...and with a nice balance of humor

Well I guess we know that Kai could be a clothing model LOL. Looked to me like he did pretty well showing off his new clothes. Its like he went to the store and picked it all out himself, looked like everything that was sent to him fits pretty well...the only issue is he's a growing teenager LOL, he'll grow out of it all long before he wears any of it out so inevitably it could be passed down to another young man in need when the time comes. Gotta love kids regardless of their age, they just shine through the dark times, they find ways to get through what they've had to deal with in their lives, and try and make the best of everything. Kai sure has settled in it seems with Peter and Anthony helping him. Funny wasn't that long ago Anthony was going through this too, so I bet Anthony being there after going through the same being a foster child then adopted, I bet he's a huge help for Kai.

Growing up in the foster care system, I can tell you that all of the people that sent Kai a gift or birthday wish, you have truly made his day and probably his year. Peter, I never had children, but I helped raise my sisters three children after her husband succumbed to ALS. I will always be thankful that I experienced having the children to teach and love as my own. I am 60 now but when Tom passed I was 38. I see how much you love the children and that you show us that everyone has so much love to share. If everyone was like you...there would be no problem with child homelessness. Love your show. Remember too much screen time hinders family bonding. Do either play video games with your boys to bond or you may lose valuable teachable moments with them. Fishing, camping, indoor trampoline parks, museum tours, county fairs etc will leave lifelong memories.

That is so cool, people can send gifts. I didn't know anyone still liked yo yo's. I saved up for weeks, collecting glass soda bottles to buy myself a Duncan yo yo in the 70s. I was in foster care as a kid. In the 60s the caseworker from social services would show up around Christmas with board games and popcorn balls as our gifts. She was a bit like Santa Claus.
