I love that Anthony does NOT show any jealousy. I love how he and Kai interact with one another and Kai is feeling very secure with you and Anthony. Peter, I am fairly new to this channel, but I have watched at least 15 segments. I will stay with you because I feel happy when I see you and the boys. No one is perfect in this lifetime but Peter I think you should be nominated for the Greatest Dad and the Greatest Foster Dad. You are a gift to us all.

I think he is the right man for this job because given where he came from and what he had or didn't have. he lives in America,he's adopting children that needs to be loved be with a family,feeling safe. he's thinking about if somebody was living this house, and they had kids you know what I'm saying,he's thinking about the future making it already comfortable for them what they going to like how they going to feel. making the house perfect before they even move their s*** in. You are amazing. In such a short time, Kai has grown to trust you enough to show his childish/playful side. Anthony is doing good too. With Kai getting some of your attention, Anthony could have been jealous. But he is mature enough that even he might have been irritated at times, he still maintains composure.

You are fantastic dad and flipper. I also flip houses in Australia. One thing regarding your fridge ( just in my opinion)... The fridge door it's better if opens the other way in this particular kitchen. I have done the same mistake myself before 😜. But you might be able to change the the way they open. There should be hinge on the other side. Sorry, I didn't mean to be disrespectful. You are doing fab job 💖💖

An easy fix but an appreciated one for a busy family would be to switch the refrigerator handles to the opposite side. Opening from the right side as your are cooking would be a time saver❣️💕😘

If all foster parents/parents was like you the world was going to be one very good place. I heard many people saying that fostering/ adopting teens is “bad idea” but you prove that is not the case as they both despite their hard time both have an loving relationship between themself but as well as parent child relationship. When my son was 5-6 yrs old he loved helping around now his 16 i have to nearly take one tooth out in other to help me out his constantly tired not for video games or play sport the tiredness is for me.

Yes. We will always remember them when they were younger...and then they grow up! Sounds as though something changed in the household routine and/or expectations for his cleaning/helping around the house.

Your boys remind me so much of my nephew's who are the same age. All enthusiasm. Lol! My nephew's would be all about that "Game room". Found y'all's channel after reading an article about your family. I worked with foster kids before and would love to become a foster parent in the future. Thanks for sharing your story as people need to know that they can foster as singles. I met a social worker on a plane with a precious little boy who was being "returned" after a failed adoption. He was special needs and it was the second time he had a failed adoption and he was barely 6. The social worker made the point to tell me ,"One loving parent is better than none. There is such a huge need." Thanks so much for sharing your story and your family with all of us. Someone should get you an HGTV show!

please remind the boys when getting a place ready to rent to clean INSIDE the fridge, the microwave, the shelving in the cupboards and the oven - because in a rental those spots are often the bad bits. Plus every part of the bathroom. And inside ovens and microwave choose a safe product such as vinegar.
