Yes he is showing you how to paint these are the must required steps in between paint schemes also after doing each layer paint you will also go back in with an exacto blade and cut out more and then change those colors Etc and excetera until your desired look task is achieved👍 you must have a lot of patience because it is tedious but also very rewarding when you are done
Too much focus and are attention to detail for me to explain while also doing body & pain paint work when the job pays more than the video. So I’m guessing other ppl might feel the same way.
Absolutely incredible!! Truly amazing work. I can tell you have tons of hours of experience. You are a Master of your craft! Thank you so much for sharing. Keep up the amazing work.
WOW! that was amazing. I like the liquid tape sprayed under the body. If thats the way it comes off all in one piece when removed thats too cool. I have never had such luck. I'll have to buy at least two bodys one to beat on the other to show. GREAT job
Why does this only have 120 comments? Fantastic work friend. After trying a couple different products, I finally ran across this brand of liquid mask. So far been practicing on random scrap bits of lexan, and any clear/flat plastic I find. This product was a life changer for me. Thank you.
This really helped. Getting the design drawn on the body is the most difficult task for me at this point. Can you link the 1.4mm Spray Gun? I have a 0.5mm that looks exactly like it. Incredible paint work, BTW!!!
Good job m8 that´s surdenly not the first body you ever made, but its a shame we dident get to see it with the protective outer film off, i know that the black lines that cross out on the painting is on the outer film and goes away once the film is removed but it made the end result, we got to see, look like it was done by an amature.
Great video! Do I need a spray gun for the Liquid Mask, or can I get away with using the #5 needle on my Paasche VL? I can get a reasonably priced 1.4mm gun, but I will probably need a better compressor than the 3 gallon I have. I also don’t think that reducing the LM would be a good idea.
I just ordered BD Liquid Mask and I'm starting with airbrush... I only have a 0.4 needle for now, so I suppose I won't be able to spray the Liquid Mask with that. I've seen somewhere it can also be applicated with a sponge, is that right? Could you please confirm that once the mask is dry, you cut everything that need to be cut at once, then peel the parts only when needed? I'm worried If I cut too soon, the paint can fill the gaps...
Exactly, cut everything that need to be cut at once then peel the parts only when needed. LM can be applied with a spray gun (1,5 nozzle and 3.5 bar pressure) or with a soft brush, 3 layers.
✌🏻😎🏴This video is awesome. Your inspiring me and motivating me to use something I have never used before. Look Amazing. I have a bunch of questions about Liquid mask if you don’t mind. I would like to use an airbrush to spray the liquid mask but the only airbrush’s I have are gravity & siphon feed for airbrush painting. I don’t have a gun like the one in the video. I would like to use my siphon feed airbrush. Q1. What size needle & nozzle do I need in the an airbrush to spray liquid mask ? Q2. Can the liquid mask be thinned out/down to go through a small airbrush needle & nozzle ? Q3. What do I use to make your liquid mask thinner? Q4. What is the shelf life of an open container of liquid mask? Q5. What is the shelf life of a factory sealed container of liquid mask? Q6. What amount of air pressure should I use? Q7. How long can the liquid mask be left on the body before you need to peal it off? Q8. Does it react badly with certain types of paint? I have Proline Airbrush paint, clears & reducer etc. Q9. Please could you do more content on liquid mask & painting because this is awesome? I’m new to drawing, painting, airbrush etc. I have an airbrush & compressor kit I have never used and all of the paint sets from proline which I have also never used. Up until now I haven’t been motivated to do anything & I have been ill for a very long time. Now I really really want to do something with it all. Hopefully with your help and guidance I can keep this up. & hopefully you will create more content 👍🏻
Q1. From 1.5 to 1.7mm nozzle is what we recommend. Q2. Our LM is ready to use, we never thinned it before. Q3. Even if we never thinned it you can do it with water. Q4. Without any problem a open bottle can be used after 6 months (or more). Q5. Long life, after 1 year the LM maintain the same specs as a new bottle. Q6. Recommend 3.5 bar pressore (500psi) Q7. There is not a specific time, the moment to peel off the mask is when it change color because the water dry and the mask become semi-transparent; before remove the mask you need to cut with an hobby knife all the lines of the graphic that you’ve drawned. Q8. I have Proline Airbrush paint, clears & reducer etc. The LM is not compatible only with spray cans, the special formulation has been developed for the use with all the water based (acrylic) paints on the market. Enjoy the use of our Liquid Mask!
Where can I get or download the design? Was hoping this video showed the design more as I have seen this design done by a few people but can’t find it to download and try.
You won't find the template online, you can only try to replicate the MR livery simply by using the thousand pics available on Google (option 1) or, alternative, order a replica to us (option 2) like the customer of this video.
@@Bittydesign Yeah I’ve looked lol and no I can’t find it anywhere. As I’m in Australia I would think shipping a body from your base in Italy would be rather expensive. I love your products by the way. I just purchased the Eptron body and I use your masks and stencils. You guys design very stylish and fast bodies. I’ll go to your site though and get a quote for a body as you have me intrigued now lol. Thanks
@@Bittydesign is an Normal Airbrushcompresser such as AS186 sufficiant for such a gun, or do i need a whole other compressor setup to spray liquid mask? (I guess it gets difficult in the cfm department right?)
@@stefanorabitti8898 I wanted to ask when you say cut in one time what do you mean? Cut all the design at the same time? Or cut every line and never lift the blade off the body? Some help would be great! Freak work!
It must be hard to let those bodies go after all that work. It’s like keeping the body feels better than the money from a sale. Are you cutting the film with a metal razor or a ceramic/graphite razor?
Tornando all'effetto griglia, devo trovare "One way vinyl!!"
This airbrush will be on sale on our new website (in May), continue to follow us on our channels so you don't miss the day that our painting equipment will be launched! 😉
Justin if you mean a "Rheinard Replica" already done this in not possible, we paint these extreme bodies only based on customer order; if you mean more in general a "painted body already done" yes in this case we have in stock some bodies, contact us by email (see our address on website), thank you.
To ruggedize your RC Body, use "Truck Bed Liner" in a spray can for the final undercoat(s)... It should greatly extend the life of the paint, help to prevent cracks, is nitro safe, and is lightweight for the amount of durability and strength it adds.
