Then he gets mad at him again why is this version of Clark so uptight ever since he upset John his ego is all over the place. And Lois has a big mouth.
Clark has treated Jon like the unwanted step son for the past two seasons. I’m hoping season three finally addresses this issue. He treats both Jordan and Jon so differently. And it’s taking a strain on Clark and Jon’s relationship
I'm trying to think of a time where Clark treated Jon badly and I can't recall one. Clark has been incredibly supportive of Jon in season and up until the XK thing in season 2. He was really close to Jon and connected with him more prior to episode 1 of season 1, which we saw in the intro clips that Clark narrated. He told him how proud he was that he made varsity. The only thing that he did to potentially, unwittingly "hurt" Jon is move him to Smallville, which he did to save the family farm and I guess help Jordan learn to hone his new powers. Clarks attention is split between saving the world as Superman, being a husband to Lois, and a father to the boys, and much more. If he doesn't get a chance to pay attention to Jon as much, it's because he thinks that he's mature enough to handle himself. Both boys had different needs in Metropolis and even more so in Smallville. To be honest, Jordan really needs the extra attention considering his emotional instability and growing powers; Jordan could kill people if he's not careful. Consider what happened when Jordan lost control of his heat vision on the football field last season and Jordan breaking Jon's hand right after. Clark's concern over the danger he poses is warranted. Jon's jealousy and feelings of inadequacy are the main reasons that he started taking the XK in the first place, but lets be honest here. Jon messed up and he is facing the consequences of his actions. Clark might be acting strict with him, but that doesn't mean that he's treating him like the "unwanted step son", as you call it.
Don’t entirely agree. Jon and Clarke had a really good relationship but sometimes I wonder if it was because Jon was so easy-going and he had the distraction of his own football life whereas Jordan needed a lot of time and attention. I remember that the boys said that Clarke was always gone or busy so it's not like he got to be super involved in their lives before, even though he was present and tried his best. Him being in Smallville was to supposedly help him to spend more time with BOTH of them. He needs to develop a better relationship with Jon like he's doing with Jordan meaning that he understood that situations with Jordan we're changing and he’s been adapting to that in how he relates to him but he’s still been treating Jon as this easy-going kid which he’s not as much that person anymore and it feels like when Jon pretends to be, like he's been doing most of season 1, he’s putting everybody else's needs and feelings before his own and he’s not able to maintain that anymore and it's all bubbling up. Jon’s not okay and I think he's been skirting depression for a while. From when he had that argument with Clarke about moving back to Meteopolis or when he got drunk at the Festival to when he told John Henry he doesn't know who he is anymore. Everybody's been missing it. They need to be more careful and aware with him. He’s been such a good kid. The only thing seeming to really ground him lately is his brother.
They do need to have a real heart to heart and get everything out, all the frustrations, the hurt of being lied to and feelings of being left out, all of it
You can see in Jonathan face when clark is trying to make up with him, Jonathan doesn't trust it the hurt of feeling like his father hated him cut him too deep and it went on for too long like lois warned clark about . Granite it wasn't in his control but I fear the damage is done

I have a feeling it will. The XK May awaken his Kryptonian genes. And plus it’ll make for an interesting story line between him and Jordan teaching him to control his powers when Clark is busy
I know Jonathan messed up big time but I am glad that Clark wanted to let him know that he still his son and he loves him. He and Lois were furious because drugs are extremely dangerous and addictive and they don’t want him to hurt nor kill himself and others.
There's only one person who can stop Ally Allston: Alex Pruitt ( the kid )from Home Alone 3 ( just found out that the actress playing Ally was also the female gang member in Home Alone 3 )
Clark hit the ground in between them. He didn't super punch his own son, he would have killed him. If you're implying that Jon may have powers, he doesn't. The show writers may decide to give him something later on in future seasons, but they are going in the direction of a powerless child of Superman in this version of the show. Tod Helbing has said in interviews that he wants to tell a Superman story that no one has seen before. That includes new characters that aren't featured in the comics (Jordan Kent, Tal-Rho, Natalie Irons, etc) and the fact that Jordan has the powers while Jon is more human and doesn't have any super abilities to speak of.
Wouldn't make sense for both of them to have alien DNA but for only one of them to develop powers. Alien DNA is alien DNA. At some point his powers would have to start manifesting to at least SOME degree. Even if it was just super strength and above average human speed, endurance and a higher degree of invulnerability.
@@gilbertmillers4865 and who cares she was in for a cameo and that was it hell they wouldn't even the same room together her and the other actress that plays Lewis who just a cut shot she was probably still back in the United States and they just green screened it in depending on what kind of budget they got you actually couldn't tell you got some green screen that just cheap as f*** because they don't know how to do the Federal all right but they got a big budget for green screening on this show so it doesn't look cheap
@@charlesneely agreed also let’s be honest bringing in Lucy really isn’t going to change anything if anything it’s just gonna lead to drama and a fight, which makes sense I mean now that Lois and her dad everyone else was proven right about Ally and Lucy didn’t listen so if anything if she comes back she’s gonna get a slap in the face which she kind of deserves💁 so I hope if Lucy does come back in the same episode I hope Supergirl and Martian Manhunter come back too that way they can restore her memories so she can be that person she was in Supergirl season 1 in my opinion but I know others will disagree🤷♂️
Clark should not had to apologize John was completely wrong and deserved worse if it was me he would of been in bootcamp or while rhey did not get in trouble with the law I would send him to reform school instead of online a d still send him away
Dose blur kryptonite exist in the arrowverse? Would love to see Lios get some blue k brace knuckles and beat Jonathan El up. He's really disrespectful to his mom.
0:17 what is inside of that hay that Jordan could be knocked out from being thrown into it (and why wasn't Jon-El strong enough to throw him *through* it)?
It could just be dust from something in the hay released by Jon-El's power. Jon-El may not have been strong enough as he may have yet to learn to fully use his strength in this new world and since Jordan also has powers he may have defended himself in some way.
@@Pongus_420 Even if she had some type of gun she's not shooting a different version of her son unless she absolutely had to and there was no other way plus it wouldn't even work on him because he's from a different world.
What exactly is she supposed to do here against a Bizzaro Kryptonian? Even if they had anti-kryptonian weapons at hand (which yeah, they probably should) they would have tge opposite effect on Jon-El and just make him stronger
