Superman & Lois 2x05 "Bizarro" Season 2 Episode 5 Promo - THINGS TAKE A TURN ON SARAH'S (INDE NAVARETTE) BIG DAY - Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui), Kyle (Erik Valdez) and Sarah (Inde Navarette) prepare for Sarah's quinceañera, but things don't end up going as smoothly as they had hoped. Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) finds himself struggling with feelings of guilt about what happened to John Irons (Wole Parks) and Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) worries that she might have been wrong about Ally (guest star Rya Kihlstedt). Meanwhile, Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) learns that Ret. General Samuel Lane (Dylan Walsh) is planning to train Jordan (Alex Garfin). What I like about the fight scenes in this show, is they always feel different and new. Lol Superman and bizzario have fought like 3 times now and each fight feels unique and special

This one I consider the best super fight scene of the series, prolonged, powerful, and tactical. Special kudos to the sound team -- those punches sounded like bombs going off.

What I absolutely love about this series is that it captures Superman’s method as a fighter. During his first few encounters with a new enemy he always holds back trying to subdue them cleanly with minimal force while also gauging their strength but when pushed in their later fights he always manages to clean their clock. He did that to John Henry, to the reborn Kryptonians & while he never got the opportunity to get a clean fair fight with Tal-Rho he clearly showed his physical dominance when he beat up Tal for hurting Jon a few episodes ago. And here after being guilted by Natalie for being unable to protect John he’s clearly giving his 100% to beat down Bizarro & he’s taking the initiative in this fight. Striking hard & taking every opportunity to hit Bizarro.

The whole arrowverse was complicated. Because for the longest time they were limited to using certain characters. Oliver Queen was like Arrowverse Batman. He wasn't like the comic Oliver at all. So Supergirl was basically a gender swapped Superman. But Supergirl is actually stronger in comics too...

Routh makes a fine Superman too, especially in his last Arrowverse crossover event. He has the maturity now to evoke Chris Reeve's dignity and nobility as the character. Tyler is getting closer to that as well.

Is anyone else happy that Bizarro quickly became a fan-favorite in this show? Sure, the guy doesn't get as many live-action adaptations as he probably should, but it's amazing what TV crews can accomplish with good scripts and respectable visual effects.

Last season everyone thought John henry was the main villain but Lois was exposing Morgan edge as the main villain and John Henry turned good.For this season I assume it's gonna be like that everyone thinks bizzaro is the main villain but lois is exposing ally and she is the main villain and bizzaro helps superman defeat her. That's why at the end of the episode bizzaro said there's some evil person.

I love the way they are portraying Bizarro because usually they portray Bizarro's as like dumb and not that Big of a threat but this one is straight up like okay there's a threat I'll terminate it and how they were trying to put our attention on him instead of ally and I can't wait to see what they do with him from now on if he is going to help or continue trying to fight.

i don’t think Bizzaro is the main villian, but i don’t think he’s in the same role as john henry. i think he’ll continue to push clark to kill ally, and still try to do it himself, so while john was anti-hero leaning more towards hero, bizzaro leans more towards a villian

I agree that Bizarro won't be the main villain, but I doubt he'll be redeemable like Steel was. Everything we've seen so far shows that he's no longer sane. His mind is overwhelmed with rage and grief. He kills without hesitation or remorse. He isn't Clark Kent any more.

@@lukeclark3506 since gold kryptonite gives power to people or superman if ever loses them, superman thought it must have opposite effect on bizzaro like taking away power and that’s exactly what happened and so he knocked out bizzaro. But in comics gold kryptonite can permanently take away powers of kryptonians and makes them human forever and there is no going back, show changed it.

I will say a cool detail I noticed: When the two Supes are having their ice fire breath clash, you can see Bizarro’s mouth is wider open and it sounds like’s exhaling, while Superman is blowing. Exhaling with your mouth wide open typically makes warmer air, while blowing with it is more concentrated and feels cold. Try it against your skin and you’ll see what I mean.

Doctor Falkner worked for Colonel Anderson but was secretly working for Ally Alstom making her mole and got access to the pendant by giving it to Ally. Now Bizarro wants the Pendant back which is no surprise. Now Lois's story, Clark's/Superman's story are all connected to Ally Alstom.

Bizarro is weakened unless he gets his Necklace/Amulet back. The amulet gives Bizarro strength It's tied to Bizzaro World. When Superman fought Bizarro on the farm Superman's hands were turning black, he was becoming a Bizarro. Superman is weakened by shards from his home world Bizarro is strengthened and can change others into Bizarro using Amulet.

Bizarro's my favorite Superman villain, and I love the shot of the two breaths fighting ala Big Trouble or DBZ. I want to save it as wallpaper. It's nearly perfect except how the beams of light cast through the building don't make sense at all. Maybe it's an artistic thing, like how villain shots in Batman '66 were shot at dutch angles.

Cool three-day beard. I like to see more bullet-time scenes. I have absolutely no problem that the writers seem to focus more on the secondary characters. Let them handle that. I have not been disappointed so far, on the contrary. 👍👍 I hope they involve red Kryptonite someday. One issue, if Kryptonians hit each other, there should be blood.

If it wasn't clear...because our Superman figured out Bizarro is the opposite of him, by flying them to the X-K cave, the X-K will weaken Bizarro instead of make him stronger

@@thribs That may have been how it worked in the comics... but on this show, the reason Superman flew Bizarro to the X-K mines was to expose them to it so it either made Superman stronger to knock Bizarro out, or weaken him so his default strength would be enough to knock him out with a few good hits.

They are been comic-book accurate with Bizarro's powers been in reverse to Superman's. With the Ice-vision and Flame breath. But I am a little confused, as Bizarro shuld be vulnerable to direct sunlight, beacuse Clark gets further empowered in the presence of direct sunlight. I think they should have given Bizarro that vulnerability, if he is to be the complete polar opposite to Prime Superman.

I love how in this second fight you can tell Bizarro genuinely doesn't want to fight Clark. Like the way he's pacing before he goes on the attack, it's like he's trying to think of any option other than killing his other self. The only other time we saw him hesitate to strike was when he froze up upon being discovered by Lois, clearly remembering his own wife. He believes Clark is a good man, but if killing him is the only way to stop Superman from preventing Bizarro saving both worlds, it's got to be done.

This may have been stated before but one of the things I really like about this show is his uniform. Dark blue, small emblem, no outside underwear just a small belt...clean looking. I have always enjoyed the uniform changes over the years, but this one like best.

I think bizarro supes asking for help by saying "get out of my way" his body language is a body language of confused supes not knowing what to do to archieve something by himself therefore he think he could get help from himself, and since everything is opposite maybe his meaning too, also the part where in the fortress of solitude when he said something about to save the world wouldve mean to prevent the world to be destroyed by ally allstone

LOL remember how Arrow season 1 & 2 and The Flash season 1 & 2 were good until producer and screenwriters screwed up with soap opera formula. I won't suprise if this show's quality to get downfall later seasons
