I love this. I love this. She is such a big name and such a big deal, but here it feels so humble, and community, and fun. Other than the camera work, it feels like shes singing at a local church or talent show.
You have to remember that Iceland is a really tiny country! She's said in the past that there's no way to be a celebrity in Iceland cause it's the kind of country where you will run into the prime minister at the supermarket.

Obviously even if she is icelandic and do know the lyrics -just watch any live version of it- but perhaps in icelandic the lyrics had to be re-arranged for a metrichal-mate thing
Well first, she’s singing it in Icelandic and usually she performs the song in English. She also has SO MANY songs that she’s written, recorded, and performed, so just imagine how hard they can all be to keep track of
