Matt, Hi! I think I got that Dutch oven at Macy’s. The color reeled me in. I’m sure you could find one almost anywhere. I saw something similar at ALDI last week. It’s perfect for making soups ‘n such. It definitely has the effect you described. I took a little something to prevent that and my family and I were so glad! I’m happy you stopped by. Soup is really wonderful for extending your budget, and using extra ingredients you might have hanging out in quantities too small for another purpose. I would suggest, for anyone without an immersion blender and if you don't want to get involved with a food processor, you can mash some or all of the beans with a potato masher beforehand. It would be chunkier, but I think it would still turn out great.
Actually, the recipe that inspired this recipe used fire roasted tomatoes and smoked paprika. Not really my thing so I made a few changes. If you’re into those, I’m sure you’d love it! Thanks for watching! 😀
