I doubt the good professor would want her home broken into by police in the middle of the night by those who had perjured themselves to a judge to obtain a search warrant.

And people were out there calling for peace, setting up vigils, and continuing community outreach. What is needed is funding for these communities in education, extracurriculars, and simple things like eliminating food deserts. BLM and M4BL is pushing for all of these things.

Maybe that's the point of this, Scott... :( A house divided cannot stand. And the US stood for a lot of the right thing which must have upset a lot of others hungry for power!! I think we all need to do whatever we can to bring reconciliation - healthy reconciliation!!!

@@scottthompson5855 What I was saying is that maybe this is influence from the outside - getting the people in the US to fight against each other. To focus on all the things you mentioned - to think that everything is wrong and that it must burned down. And that "distraction" to be used against the US overall by other countries. I don't think any of the things you mentioned are right and they are definitely not a solution - but so many people actually believe that. I think we should try to talk to them - not fight them. To help them understand why defunding the police and the rest of it wouldn't work and why it would be the opposite of what they think would happen. I think a big part of the problem is that they don't want to talk, they don't want to make their arguments for why they believe these things - but I think we should still try to engage them in conversation and hopefully turn this around.
