Kinda really sucks that there is not going to be any look or engine variance in the COD games going forward. Yeah things change a little or they try new things, but man a Treyarch game felt way different than an Infinity Ward game, etc… kinda sucks. The studio names really no longer matter. Maybe some give better support and make adjustments better.
Cmpletely agree. 2019 will always be the standard to me in terms of the best-looking game. Sun-baked shadows actually existed there, but the COD HQ IW9X engine makes everything look super grey and greens look terrible (not to mention that slight white outline characters have now).

BO6 looks alot more to CW than MWII OR MWIII. same engine =/ looking the same. Even the feel of the game based on both the official gameplay clips and the newly leaked ones is totally Treyarchy.

I'm overall excited for BO6, but I have one concern, and it lies with the gunsmith. I remember unlocking a new gun in BOCW and instantly knowing the best build for it, as it was the same attachments for every other gun in that category. Look at the old cold war meta AR builds for proof, it's almost always the same 5 parts. I do think that the new gunsmith is far too bloated, but at the same time I'm concerned that there will be no build diversity across guns in the same category, just like BOCW. The reason for my concern is one thing. No parts are shared except for optics, meaning that potentially some parts repeat, if not every part. If every part is the same on every AR, then the meta build for every AR is going to be quite similar. This creates a problem, in that there's no need to experiment, purely because every gun plays the same as the rest of the category. Then it becomes a race to max the new guns so you can put the best build on them and see how they stack up against the meta. I hope that treyarch proves me wrong, and each gun behaves differently enough to justify different builds, or the parts for each gun are different, allowing for experimentation beyond seeing if it's meta or not, but I have a feeling that the beta won't answer that, and I'll have to wait for launch.
@@spybg1076 yes. The reason I hate it is because it makes the game way too repeatable in a way due to sbmm. I have been playing since CoD 2 the Big Red One in 2005 and I was peaking during BO3 when I had 650 spm in tdm and around 7 kd ratio (mostly played tdm and ffa), thus being put in high mmr lobbies in 2019 where everyone spams this, while also giving another layer of protection to otherwise risky plays just by the extra speed provided. Also, it makes bunny hopping even more annoying to deal with. It is one thing to bunny hop with normal sprint but with tac sprint it is nightmare fuel. Extra information if you read this, I have quitted since 2019 with that dogshit new mw series and I haven't played ever since. And unless things don't go back to how they used to be, I will keep watching Nero and BT for nostalgia and not play. This is not CoD, the CoD I know and have played is cartoony, is fast paced, with MUCH higher ttk => higher skill expression, no doors/safe spots/tac sprint, strong and rewarding score/kill streaks, no eomm/sbmm, great maps, pick 10, prestige system and not even a sight of these woke ass skins and bundles that pollute the shop. If they really wanna doskins, do them the BO3 way. Those I would actually be incentivized to buy, despite them being free in BO3 via supply drops, which, btw, were a far better system combined with the season passes than the current battle passes on which I can shit on for hours. Even if it was free, I still would not play these last 5 cods and the next one too. Until CoD won't return to the basis, I will keep om playing XDefiant. What a great game that is

This spring, in order to graduate from my uni, I had to do a practice stage and it happened to be Ubisoft in my country where I ended up working, as I work in IT. There, 80-90% of the employees were girls with dozens of colours in their hair that had nothing to do with game development. All they knew and yap about all day long was the woke culture. If even here, in Eastern Europe, the woke culture is omnipresent, it starts to feel like it also has something to do with the devs. Idk anything about the devs working for CoD, but seeing the direction in which the franchise is going, it seems to be a similar situation to the one at Ubisoft. And I am not saying this just to piss someone off because many who have heard my opinion on this topic got pretty offended by it, but, at least in Ubisoft's case, I am certain that there is a problem in this regard. You can look it up and see photos from their company or look at their policies and employees list and you can almost only see women working there. I may be wrong, but I doubt it, to think that there is a chance for a game company made out of 90% women to make a gruesome shooter, the likes of WaW or BO1. Again, I may be wrong here, but seeing the slop Ubisoft have been shipping for the past 7 years and that will likely continue in the future, I honestly believe the selection of game devs has a huge influence on games from CoD's genre in general, namely fps and this might be the same for CoD

@can1as rubbish. People get bored of cod every year because of a lack of content. Xdefiant has had 1 new map since release and beta testing and have thousands of small maps at their disposal with previous ubisoft titles. Content is king and xdefiant seriously lacks it.
BO6 looks like a rehash of COLD WAR with MW3 movement. You now can also move like MAX PAYNE 3 in first person. Also with much stronger SBMM I'm sure. I'm glad game pass will let me enjoy this game will little down.

You know they tested turning of SBMM without telling anyone and they got soooooo many complaints. So yea no I don’t think they will take that off. People don’t like SBMM even though they like the sound of it
You know what sucks? That I can never enjoy a call of duty game without SBMM ruining the experience for me.. why is everyone above 900 rank already? The season just started last week. I am stuck with sweaty players that play no other game but call of duty all thanks to SBMM I am stuck in this cycle every year

I doubt it will be OP as long as you keep track of where the enemy is at all times and I’d imagine all it will do is just change the name color of the person using it meaning as long as you keep track of the enemy and the operator you should be fine
Black ops 6 did NOT have 4 years of development when theyre working on multiple cod titles outside of their own cod titles since vanguard. What is so hard to understand that?
Well for starters the reason why the zombies mode is kinda meh in MWZ and Vanguard is due to a smaller team working on it. Ranked Play is made by the dev of the game + help with another small team from treyarch.

When the split guys finish helping the other games they come back to the main project. It's simple to understand, Bo6 has been in development since Cold War came out, it's been 4 years bro lol. The entire studio doesn't drop Bo6 development to help Vanguard and MW II and then pick it back up afterwards, that isn't how game development works. It's the same exact concept for Rockstar and GTA, every single Rockstar dev is not stopping GTA 6 development to make GTA Online updates, they have a small team dedicated for it, that's exactly how Cod devs do it too..

Look at vanguard and mw2 2022 for example shorter time in development then people originally thought so no it's not gonna be 4 years of development. Vanguard was supposed to have more development itself like what? 4 years since the last Sledgehammer games and they revealed it wasnt a long time in the making? Devs will say it's been a long time coming just to reveal the real development time

You can also change the mini-map design. The guy livestreaming was messing around with them There is a setting called red dot chaser and its the same design as a halo mini map. doesnt show map lay out only the dot. seems interesting
I saw the leaked gameplay and I’ll just say that I am not pre ordering. Only way I’ll purchase is if zombies is what it used to be otherwise I’m not getting it. UPDATE: I’m not buying it zombies is ass… it’s cold war 2.0 armor plates, scrap, pack a punch animation gone… mystery box music is a flop… way to go Activision.
Sleeper agent will break the game! We don't need that in, I much rather a perk that worked like cold blooded did in the original MW2 where your nametag doesn't show for enemy players so there is a chance they think you are a friendly.
I really like the gunsmith menu on Cold War. Not only did it give you a simplistic view of what each attachment did and cost but, if you press R2, it will give you specific details with what each attachment truly does for the gun. It's truly an amazing system. I could change my attachments mid game if I felt I'm playing differently. A few quick changes and bam! Now my gun is accustomed to my current play style while keeping most of the original attachments. And don't even get me started on the godsend that is the saved mods blueprints.
9:43 I love this old system of having less attachments to make it easier to experiment, the problem is that sadly next year and during this years with season 1 to 5, they'll be adding the 40 attachments again. I'm sure.
Reminds quite a bit of Cold War except they sadly stepped away from the simplicity and have tac sprint. I also really hope they fix the gunsmith and don't add 100 grips, muzzles and lasers
Problem with cod multiplayer over the years is the gun system , why tf are there 20-30 muzzles for one gun it’s so stupid lol keep it simple 4-6 attachmentss per category (muzzle , barrel , mag , sight , stock)
the issue i have with COD is there’s no longer anything close to casual gameplay. i hop into lobbies and it’s full of sweatys which just makes its miserable. i don’t mind getting competitive but when it’s every game it gets tired. i just miss being able to hope on for a few hours and just chill.
The gunsmith should be streamlined like you said to have 5-10 options per slot and then they could just add different "skins" for various looks for each option. That way you can go for a look without the complexity of 40 options

I 100% agree with you on Gunsmith there is no need for all the choices in each attachment as they all do the same thing. I liked being able to choose what the sight looked like inside the scope. The sleeper agent is not a good idea because now it will be used as a way for hackers to have it on all the time.
As an alternate for the grips, maybe have like 5 or 6 grips, but each grip has like 8 different skins or something like that. So gun nuts will be happy, and casual fans would be happy.
Cw scorstreaks were strong af. BO6 should tone it down a bit. Certain stuff like the grenade launcher with 15+ grenades. Or a deagle that one shots no matter the distance shouldn't be in the game.

They should make the score streaks stronger with very little counter. Also should make a no killstreak playlist. Seems like they may have lowered the TTK which is good for balance against Aim Assist against M+KB. They either needed to lower TTK or aim assist. It was just insane trying to fight aimbot aim assist against a person with 150 health points.

The older i get the more i enjoy tac shooters. Been playing a lot of valorant, hell let loose, squad, arma reforger. The small 6v6 maps just arent fun for me anymore. Still gonna play bo6 a bit because i play on xbox and already have gamepass, but prolly not a lot. Love the videos big dog been watching for many years

For me who doesn’t take COD so seriously, idc if there’s 40 attachments cause I can basically make guns look exactly how they look in other video games or movies. The amount of options FOR ME is fun to play around with looks and not caring that much about functionality. But this is fine, I just want to omnimove with dual pistols already.
SBMM and gamepass are the two reasons i wont be touching this game. I cant play with friends because theyre lower skill so just get stomped in every game we play together and as a PS player, why would I pay full price for a game others can essentially play for free. They said exclusivity deals were over but having free access to the game if you're on certain platforms is arguably the biggest exclusivity benefit in CoD history.
Guardian perk: revive team mates faster. The only use case for this perk would be prisoner rescue or fire team. Prisoner rescue was very popular in mw22, probably returning for BO6. Gung ho allows players to reload while tac sprinting, unlike commando gloves in mw3 which only allow reloading while normal sprinting. I wonder if the reload animation while be raised with Gung ho, like the tac sprint animation. There is other information about the Gung ho perk, but I couldn't ascertain whether it allowed reloading while slide cancelling like commando gloves in WZ. Fast hands perk can be used with Gung ho perk in BO6, but it doesn't improve reload speed, just weapon swap speed. Gung ho in BO6 is massively nerfed from Gung ho in CW.
I'm fine with a lot of attachments but they need to have 4 or 5 different stat sets and then in each set they can have 5 to 10 different ones just so you can change the look of it. All 40 of them don't need to have different stats. Have 6 or 7 that have the same stats but look different, and then another 6 or 7 that have the same stats, but all look different and so on. That way, there are a ton of different options to choose from so you can get the look you want, but there's only 4 or 5 you have to choose from stats wise.

I 100% disagree about streaks, Im actually not abig fan of even how prevolent they are nowadays. I like the boots on the ground making a bigger difference to the endgame outcome than streaks. To the point where I wish they were gone from the hardcore mode. They are too game changing at this point, god forbid they make them stronger...
You know none of the perk system matters when SBMM nulifies them? What is the point in making all this wonderful stuff just to ruin it by nerfing you in game because youre playing well? Pointless.
They will never give you something so good that you won’t buy the next game. They intentionally are forced to leave out features that people enjoy so that those features can be a selling point for the next game.
