That is wrong... it doesn’t contain cure for everything... wrong wrong and wrong, I know some friend who never get cured from their disease although they used it.

I started adding black seed oil to my unscented beard oil and the difference for me is night and day. My beard looks better is so much softer and is growing like crazy, definitely worth a try.

As a muslim I ingest black seed oil pretty often and I was wondering if you were gonna mention prophet Muhammad s.a.w. and you didnt let me down! I love the "Carrier Oils 101". The more you know, the more you grow. The benefits of black seed oil has put it on my radar. I have a relatively sensitive sniffer, I don't like the scent of black castor oil and I'll have to give Bahawat a sniff.

I know this is a 3 yr old video but I just received my Bahawat Oud Tobacco and I was shocked when I woke up and my beard was still lying down nicely not like the usual I just came out of the woods look. Not sure if it's the black seed or what but wow impressed no other butter does this 🙂

I’ve been keeping Black seed oil in stock at home for the past 15+ years. Its my go-to any time I feel the slightest sign of a cold coming on or upset stomach and it nips it in the bud right away!! In the Middle East black seed itself is essential in our diet. Try our halloumi cheese with black seed and you will love it. Mainly we consume it with dairy foods. My father had heart issues and his doctor gave him the recommendation to include black seed to his diet. It’s magical

I have an oil from Canada that has black seed oil in it. I really enjoy the blend very much. The scent of the beard oil itself is a spiced tobacco so I don’t notice anything off w this particular scent but it could just be blending well. The company is called macduffs grooming
Good day, fellow Canuck! Checked out their website. Looks very interesting. Might try some of that product. I like the "earthier" scents so the one you suggest has my interest. I noticed that the black seed oil is listed as the second ingredient and the pricing, for Canada, seems to be in line with the general market costs. That raises the question, how much black seed oil is actually in the product? The fact that the BAHAWAT is a two-ounce bottle, it lists the black seed oil as the FIRST ingredient and it's half the price of a one-ounce bottle of anything else I have on the bathroom shelf has me a bit baffled. Any thoughts?

I think that of all the Carrier Oil videos youv'e done this is the best as it links back to the Bahawat Beard Oil when I first heard of the Black Seed Oil. I bought a 100ml bottle from Amazon in the UK by Naissance and it cost me £12.00. I since have made a beard oil with it purely as the sole carrier oil and I completely agree that the smell profile is something that I will have to look at how to blend it. Please dont get me wrong it is not an unpleasant smell. It is rather like the smell of black pepper? The feel in beard is great and it does give quite a nice shine to my beard. Being a gentleman with a red beard this is awesome as it really highlights the colour. Sorry if that sound a bit girly:). I have tried using it in a blend for a beard butter and as i was using a low amount with Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Coconut Oil, Black Seed Oil, Rosehip Oil and Cold Pressed Lemon Essential Oil it gave the butter a lovely zesty but peppery scent and again a great feel in beard. 100% with you on this one my Bearded Brother. I just bought Bahawat beard oil and beard balm. Both in the tobacco and oud scent. They have not arrived yet. The beard balm should arrive today. I ordered the beard oil a little later so I should have that Tuesday. It does have the black seed oil and I'm hoping I like both the product and the scent of the product.
Great video Dan. I can personally attest to the health benefits of consuming black seed oil. Just do your homework and make sure that it is a good quality oil.

This is my favorite series of yours. I would really like to see one on broccoli seed oil and also pumpkin seed oil. I have a greying beard and products with those oils seem to work really good in my beard.
Been taking it for a few years....love it for health but i noticed my hair was growing more, faster, softer skin & my gray hair was turning black (yes really) lol

The best BSO on the market is Bio Natal, it's more expensive but you know what they say....you usually get what you pay for. The TQ in Bio Natal BSO from Ethiopia is very high compared to others, over 4.25 % ! Btw, if you buy BSO and the TQ is not listed on the bottle you have to ask yourself why isn't it ?? Also, the color is black and it has an extremely strong taste, and not a good taste either, Lol....anyway, check out their website if you want the best....JMHO......btw, I'm just a customer with an honest opinion, I've been using it for years and will continue.
So glad that you did this video. I have a bottle of pure black seed oil thst I've tried in my beard and its absolutely amazing. Thats the only downfall I can see is the scent. Its a good scent but fairly strong. C'mon beard company owners, ditch that TRASH Grapeseed, and replace it with Black seed😁

I just realized at the age of 49 that I could actually grow a beard, I don't know what changed.. outside of stopped drinking soda completely ... maybe I finally grew up lol. I'm having a blast with my new toy and I picked up some black seed oil to make my own beard oil. Then I found this you and this video ( immediate subscriber lol) I have read that if you use 100% cold pressed black seed oil that you should mix it with another carrier oil due to it being too potent. Is this the case .. also have you experimented with it and do you have any recomendations?

Been waiting for this one Dan C. Love Black Seed Oil. It's an ingredient in my carrier profile in my oils. You are right about the scent and how you'll have to work around it with your scent profile. But it might just be me but Rosehip and Hemp Seed are in my carrier blend as well and I believe they neutralize the smell of black seed to some extent vs mixed with other oils I've tried. Might just be my nose and how sensitive I am with smells. But great job man. Please keep these coming. Could you do Babassu Oil. Currently I'm using Frac Coconut oil in my carrier blend and the research I've done is that Babassu oil has a lot of the same benifits but a lighter oil and lower on the Comedogenic Scale. Would love to hear it from the Trusted Teacher before switching.
You have experience with straight black seed oil? You and Dan both mentioned the scent profile as being hard to work around. Can you describe the scent?
@@codymiller1542 Well first you must understand there are two main ways black seed oil is produced. Pressed and solvent extracted. When the seeds are pressed they are simply pressed using a cold press machine, you get more of the organic natural smell of the seeds. When black seed is produced using solvents, the seeds are placed in a sort of distilment process with the use of hexane which is a "natural" solvent which smells so much like gasoline/oil/mechanic shop. So be mindful which one you purchase. Cold pressed black seed oil reminds me of if you have ever saved bacon grease in a mason jar and let it cool the next day and take that smell and mix it with hints of green tea and black pepper. That's the best I can come up with on the spot. My wife hates the smell right out of the bottle but did say once I mixed it in my carrier blend then put it in beard it wasn't noticeable.
Great video. Question: If Black Seed Oil is as expensive as it is, but Honest Amish Premium is one of the best bang for your buck oils...I’m assuming there isn’t very much BSO in Amish?
@@normanspicer9431 I am not sure Black Cumin Oil, which is in Amish, is the same as Black Seed Oil. Nevermind, apparently it is. I googled. It’s just did not make sense. An expensive oil in a lower price oil. But, it’s Honest Amish, so I should not put anything past.
It is expensive relative to other carrier oils. Keep in mind most beard oils have a profit margin of 80-90%. Companies like honest have more quantity of sales, so they are able to get away with lower profit margins
I'm 16 and got Black seed oil 3 days ago and for 2 days I took 1 teaspoon and today I took 2 and each time I take black seed oil it burns my throat a little bit when I swallow is that a good or bad thing?
it's normal for it to sting a bit.. it's potent oil.. I've been ingesting it off and on for years and it is great for so many things! I've found a way to swallow it with a bit of water to help with the burn, but it took me a while to prefect the swallow lol..
Can black seed oil darken a gray or silver beard? Or any carrier oils darken a light beard. Mine is silver and I do NOT want to use anything that will make it look dull or brassy.
I have heard mixed results on darkening or staining beards. 95% of the time, grey/silver/white beards say they have NEVER experienced any staining for any oil. A very small amount of guys have told me they have experienced. I am not sure 100% either way for blackseed oil
@@ahmadd4817 I like to make my own butters and oils as I am in the UK and if I bought a product from the USA I would be looking at around $20 postage and $20 import tax. I once bought a bottle of beard conditioner from USA and it ended up costing me nearly $55 due to the postage and tax. I am very interested in trialing with different scent profiles though.
