5:37 |Trilogy Fans: Remember the Sam Raimi Spider-man, the Spider-man you shot down in cold blood? Sony: What does it matter to you anyway?! Fans: EVERYTHING!
Yeah, it's the weakest of the trilogy, but this is the one I find myself coming back to the most. I think I've watched this movie more times than I have any other movie.
the nations of the world: "thank god the Great War is over, hopefully we will never have to go through something like that again" an italian journalist, a japanese general, and an austrian guy that was rejected from art school: 1:52
Venom bonds with Peter - 0:00 Birth of the Black Suit Spider-Man - 1:52 Sandman on the police radio - 2:51 Black Suit spider man swinging - 3:42 Peter looks at the mirror - 4:31 Spider-Man stalks sandman - 5:17 The fight begins - 5:50 Sandman’s weakness - 6:49 Peter puts away the black suit - 7:24
People can talk trash all they want, the scenes where both Peter and Eddie become Venom are amazing and borderline horror, which was awesome for a superhero film. The soundtrack really completes it!
It shows what sam raimi is truly capable of and makes you wonder what he could’ve directeded if his full potential was put into this movie and not being controlled by the producers, this movie is my childhood. I LOVE IT
@@Cowflakes sounds like you are with me alr typing this out. Dude probably meant that it's not what they think personally but it's respectable enough to say
5:50 is where it gets so good, it is like Peter is at his most evil and triumphant moment, like his ego is trying to convince him his actions are heroic and justified just by the score. Underrated stuff.
When I was younger I remember having the ost in my old cellphone and this part of the suite was my favorite one, it's so epic, it suits tension and climax for Peter being under the pain/anger, a mix between good and evil, Christopher Young is a genius!
I mean… given some multiverse shenanigans that happened with Doc Ock and Aunt May in enter the spiderverse, young hot aunt may might get the hentai tentacle treatment.
I think the movie was great, and even if they couldn’t do venom right, I think he still was ok in the film. Definitely one of the best themes in Spider-Man history, for sure.
God he makes really good use of the French Horns! A lot of musicians tend to use them as more of a Background, but in 1:52 they’re a main focus and I love it! It’s the most climactic part! And they play such a HUUUUUGE role!
@@masonharris9166 Actually most OST for blockbuster films use trumpets and trombones with artificial horns but rarely use actual French horns, movies like the avengers rarely use French horns
As a wise man once said in the comments of this scene: "1:52 The violins in the background gives a sense of urgency, like saying "STOP! Take it off, you don't know what this is!" But the booming brass is almost overshadowing the violins, giving a more uncertain but surprised sound, like saying "This thing isn't hurting me, now that I think about it, it's not that bad" Then the Trumpets near the end before he jumps off of the building give that confirmation to him that everything is okay, like the suit telling him to trust it. Then by the end you basically cannot even hear the violins as he has fallen into the control of the Symbiote." @Hands_0n Credits to him for making this original comment.
It’s amazing this movie had four villains all at once: New Goblin, Sandman, Venom and the best of all of them: Black suit Spider-Man, aka, Bully Maguire.

I remember being so hyped for this movie when I was 8. This theme basically captures all of my emotion & how I felt about this movie, with seeing all of the advertisements about this "Darker" spidey. And yes, I love the hell out of this movie. Regardless of the criticism it gets. To me, It's a flawed masterpiece and still remains one. Although, I have to admit, hearing this theme by itself is almost like experiencing a different Spidey movie all on it's own, yet still being so dark. It's hard to explain.
1. A Peter Parker who behaved like the comic representation in terms of personality and performance. 2. Ethnically and characteristically appropriate Mary Jane (no feminist agenda. PLUS shes gorgeous) 3. While some acting was cheesy, it never pulled you out of the story. 4. Engaging and believable character motivations. OG trilogy was the best we would ever get.
@@doug176 I'm complaining she's freaking ugly as hell... Dude, no one, and I mean NO ONE would pick Zendaya over 2002 Kirsten Dunst Mary Jane, it's not even a contest. Also, she behaves like a socially awkward bitch, who randomly spits out some feminist BS instead of making the faintest attempt to be endearing to not only Peter, but the viewer as well.
1:52 that classic moment when an alien gives you a suit that makes you better at crime fighting and gets you a better job with a higher salary as well as a cool suit
