On the back of the packet it should tell you roughly how much liquid one sachet will set. There is no precise answer as it depends on which brand, sachet size etc. Hope that helps a little!
Mascarpone is a type of cream/soft cheese and you can use gelatin powder instead of the sheets! ... People have done this recipe with strawberries instead of blackberries and it looked tasty!
I went to school in Hertfordshire (Chancellors School) along with all of the rest of the SORTED Crew. But then went to UCB (University College Birmingham) to study as a chef and complete a degree in Culinary Arts Management.
You guys really put people in a "cooking mood". Looks really simple also the way you do it! I am gonna make the profiteroles for my brother's wedding! Thanks! Keep it up!
A few questions: 1. Can I substitute cream cheese for mascarpone? 2. Can I use gelatin powder or agar instead of gelatin sheets? 3. How big is your cake tin?
Gelatin leaves need to be soften in cold water before being dissolved... gelatin powder doesn't normally need that process. You'll have to check the back of the packet to see how much to use though... each brand is slightly different.
You can do it in any pan... it just makes it tricky to get the first slice out in one neat piece. After that... the rest of the slices will be fine because you'll be able to get a palette knife under it.
The look of disgust on Barry's face when jamie said that the egg and sugar looked like a cooked egg! 😂😂 the eternal love he has for eggs is more than a mother has for her child 😂😂😂
Agar agar (vegetarian gelatine) is another option, but the texture will be slightly different. If you don't want to use gelatine at all then take a look on our website for more cheesecake recipes! :)
I think it'd be really cool to see you do a 'student series' for students who may not have an awful lot of gear, nor money for groceries. And things that are exceptionally easy to make (I didn't dare say easy, as the majority of the things you do ARE easy to make).
I was Just watching this video with my little brother.. And he is a GREAT spiderman fan. And now.. He asked me to make this cake for his birthday!! Cant wait to try it!!!
my 1-yr-old daughter laughed so hard when Barry suddenly appeared at 0:11 saying "Spider Cake!". And now she's imitating him not just on me but basically on every person she meets, LOL.
Everyone here in Sweden has their own way of how to make meatballs. Some cook with sauce, some cook without, some eat with "lingonberries" (lingonbär/lingon). Another way to eat it is with a brown sauce and potatoes. This remind me of Christmas. We always make homemade meatballs for Christmas. :)
I never thought you could put the gelatin into the milk; my mum and I always dissolved it in warm water :O Also, I love you guys. You combined my favourite fruit with my favourite dessert.♥
Cheesecake obviously contains cheese... the clue is in the title! But perhaps you could try something like our trifle which is a soft, creamy dessert without cheese.
