I made this last night for my 83 year old mother (who is also from the South) and she absolutely loved it! It was really fun to make this cake and made both of us smile. Thank you so much!
You make the most spectacular pound cakes I have ever seen! You are a remarkable chef. I hope we can all learn from you. God bless you, Mr. Charles! In Jesus's name, amen!
I like how you present yourself by wearing your Chef hat and coat. It sets you apart from others who have the appearance but look like every day people.
Thanks for the recipe, it looks delicious. I can't decide which I'll make first, this or the praline. But I'm going to make them both, for sure. Appreciate you, and I hope you live long and prosper as well!
My, My, My!!! That cake looks delicious. Great job and presentation. One of these old-fashioned Grandma cakes for Sunday dinner. 😋😋😋😋 I will be baking this one.
Hi Mr. Charles all I can say is that you are wonderful Cake Baker, I just want to ask one request of you because I had a bad experience in the kitchen from using the wrong Butter, so my request is could you please in your ingredients description state whether your Butter is Salted or Unsalted instead of just saying Butter and I promise you will I not ask about Salted or Unsalted Butter again.❤️💯🙏.
Wow, Mr. Charles the icing on the cake was making my mouth water. I have watched you make the icing and have tried, but mines doesn't turn out like yours. Is your milk (regular, heavy whipping cream, coffee cream) and is it cold or room temperature? Thank you for the video
The milk was cold and you should always add a teaspoon or a couple of teaspoons at a time of liquid that way you can get the thickness or how thin you like it
