Brian, this is my 1st exposure to you. What a great video. Didn't that Lefty carp story make it into his 101 Fish? So true that we need to keep pushing and guys like Blane have the talent to do so. Plus he's passing it on to the next generation.
Not to get all sentimental but this really spoke to me. It’s so incredibly cool that you guys got to meet and fish with legends of the sport. I truly hope that I can learn enough to pass on the love and skill of fishing to my children some day. This channel’s content is awesome!
Brian, thanks so much for the quality content on your channel. I discovered Mad River last summer and became exceedingly interested in the Game Changer content you’ve produced. As a result I’m spending the winter tying feathered game changers and polar game changers with materials I sourced from Mad River for the pursuit of trophy trout in the Stillwater’s of Utah where I live and fly fish. Blane’s designs and materials have found their way into the fly shops in my part of the country so there’s no doubt in my mind that game changers are beginning to take hold out west. The game changer platform allows fly tiers like me to adapt patterns for my specific type of fly fishing with large or small streamers that have movement and action unlike anything I’ve used before. We’re pretty excited for ice off in the spring. I want to personally thank Blane for sharing his God given talent and for expressing his feelings on the topic. I can tell you’re both honorable men. Good video Brian. Blane just verified something I heard a long time ago I believe it was attributed to Thomas Edison. "Genius is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration." That is why when he came back from a fishing trip he would go to the vice instead of the couch. Nice interview. Now please have someone interview you about leaders. I'm still waiting somewhat impatiently for the "End of the Line." Keep the good stuff coming.
