The life we have forgotten. This was a great reminder of what life could be. Those cities like Shanghai, London, New York may seem nice until a pandemic hits, then you find out what you really have. Imagine being quarantined on your big land with your chickens, eggs, vegetables, ground water etc... You might not even know it's happening. :D

In 2010 I when back to the gambia and buy land for 6000 pound .i spend least 40k and I have my dream home ..now Me and my kids only go back to UK in the raining season which summer in Uk

As a black British female like yourself yet sadly stuck in England please tell me how you immigrated to the Gambia. I am a mid 30s mum who is yearning to GET OUT, much like the film. Especially given the current climate. Yet, the corrupt government, blackouts, inadequate health service, cannot speak Wollof, and so many other things cause me to rethink the 'dream'. I am educated and am in the fortunate position to be living mortgage-free. Yet, finances also concern me. HOW DID YOU DO IT and what is the ReALITY pros and cons??!! Blessings x

My family is in Jamaica, Canada, and the USA. The ones in Jamaica fit no criteria that is good enough for immigration purposes. There is one person with the power ie money to set us all free and she wont hear of relocating to africa, and I dont have the money.
