I was to this step where I couldn't get the large baffles out. Almost cleaned them in place. Thank you, very helpful indeed.

Great info Jim. New owner of 4 burner LTE grill and wondering your thoughts on converting it from propane to natural gas. I see there is some information on the website as well as a video which walks through the process...but was wondering - Is this something that you recommend or have any further thoughts on?

This video is about the most helpful, that I could find. Just take your time and be sure you have the right tools. It’s really more tedious, than difficult. Don’t forget the rear rotisserie burner. That one gets forgotten sometimes, in the conversion process. Hope this helps. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CGVHd9zSS_s.html

My Blaze LTE grill has all the burners held in place with cotter pins that are very difficult to reach. I noticed your burners were not held in place so should I remove these pins? Never mind, I saw your other video about how to remove the cotter pins.

Hi Jim...I have a 32 inch Blaze built in grill. I always keep it covered when not in use. I just did a deep clean on it today (soaking all the parts in soap and water like you suggest)...(this is not my first time cleaning it...I've had it since late 2020. Is it common for the parts to turn a brown color over time? There is no way any of that is coming off when I clean it. Almost looks like rust. Also, what type of sponge etc. do you use when you are doing a deep clean. Thanks!

Here’s a detailed video of what I do, when deep cleaning… ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4aSVfgjCpZQ.htmlsi=8WORzIJ4Ycp0LAaN. This might shed some light on a few of your questions. It’s not uncommon to see tea-staining, which is sometimes mistaken for rust. It can be caused by any number of things…. Rubs, debris, marinades etc. Basically anything that might collect on the grates could cause tea-staining. It’s totally harmless. You’ll often see the water turn that brown color when you’re cleaning. The only time I’ve seen actual rust on stainless steel grill grates is from severe neglect (which doesn’t sound like the case here), if the grill is on the coast and there’s lots of salt in the air, or if the grill is close to a salt water pool. Also, never store pool chemicals under or near a grill. Harsh environments and pool chemicals will wreak havoc on anything stainless. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Quick question. I have a LTE built in 41 inch. I saw you just lifted out the burners with ease. My grill has clips holding them in. Is it safe for me to remove them so I can easily remove them to clean? I ask because getting to those clips are a pain in the arse to do this over and over as it would require removing cabinets to get to the clips.

Those cotter pins are really just for shipping. In all my trainings and in my initial setup video, I tell people to always pull those pins and leave them out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--1kZr67v3Mw.htmlsi=yFGdJ8bVItE-MnGb

Hi Jim- We purchased the Blaze Prelude LBM 32" Grill last May. Over the winter, we had incredible winds and believe it or not, the grill was pushed over, dislodging everything! I have searched all over, asked Blaze and the online store we purchased it from, but no one has any written instructions for putting it back together. It is a little nerve wracking because I want to make sure I don't do anything wrong and blow us up. :) Do you know of any place that I can get written instructions? Thank you.

Wow, that must have been a heck of a wind storm. Let me see what I can find. I’m out of town this weekend but wanted to let you know I’ll dig into this when I get home, Monday. Worse case, I’ll make a quick video of how to put everything back together. After all is said and done, I would recommend a leak test, as well. I can show you how to do that too. I’ll follow up, Monday.

Ok, after revisiting this video, it should provide you with all the info you need to put everything back together. Here's another video on deep cleaning that shows everything from a different angle, which might help, as well. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2KNm9_-CQN0.html. You also want to do a leak test. The following link isn't a Blaze video but the leak test is still performed the same way. Easiest way to access the valves is pull out the drip tray and look underneath the grill head. You'll have a clear view of the valves from under there. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sOnt19jPf30.html

@@haasrocks1 Thank you so much, Jim. I am going to tackle it this weekend and will go through these vids to get a good handle on it. Yes, the winds were beyond anything we have really ever had before!

Hey Jim. I recently got a blaze 32 inch lte and it’s built into my outdoor kitchen. I don’t cover my grill and when it rains the drip tray gets filled with water. I have no idea how it’s getting there. Is this normal? How can I stop this?
@haasrocks1
@haasrocks1 Год назад
There’s a thin gap between the control panel and the body of the grill, for venting purposes. That’s where the water gets in. The best solution is a cover. I recently had the same issue with my Blaze, even with a cover on it. After time, the cover will get brittle and start to crack. I just replaced mine.
@jimbrandolini6490

@@haasrocks1 Interesting.. So you still had water getting in even with the cover on it? I bought a cover but it hasnt rained since i put it on.. really didnt want to cover this grill.
@haasrocks1

Yes, after time the cover gets brittle and will start to crack. After a hard rain, water might through. I’m in south Louisiana so, yeah, we get some weather on occasion.
