blend door actuator replacement on 2011-2013 corolla 

I didn't have to mess with the knobs. Just that side trim to remove the small vent.

2:18 is showing the tab you will have to pull it down or up. The blower motor and top section to the actuator is a 2 peace easier to remove when they are separated.

Thank you for the reply. Is this actuator for heat/cold or mode or recirculation? I am looking to find and replace the HVAC mode actuator. Can you please help me with the location of that? Thanks

@@Vignesh-2120 should be heat and cold. The actuator controls the blendoor.

I removed all the screws , as shown in the video. I can able to unlocj the right side locking tab but I couldn't able to reach the left side locking tab at all. Is it possible to push the whole assembly down? It is very hard to remove the blower motor part since the bottom firewall screw pin is resisting the assembly to push it down. How did you remove the assembly's screw hole (bottom) from the firewall screw pin (screw)? Please, advice on this, i really appreciate your help.

@pretendingtobedylan if you haven't already fixed it, I would screenshot the gears and zoom in. I didn't have to remove them

@XRP_NP hope you got it started. Maybe something got disconnected

@@brandonreeh1637 if I remember right, it was a blown fuse because I forgot to disconnect the battery

Just the connectors to the fan. Not much to disconnect

Ok I got it do you know if the flapper is closed if is on recirculating or if it’s open

It was stuck open. After installing everything the car should be on default and work normal

Somewhat have to have patience on this one
