in this Blender 2.8 tutorial i will show you how to make a realy eye-catching Movie Style text animation using eevee Project File - gum.co/nMuQR Instagram - / ducky3d website - nathanduck.com
You make the best tutorials with eevee!! I decided not to use eevee as it does not allow for realism in many cases,but.....you showed more than "many cases" and I started using it. Thanks a lot!!
Well I mean........... if you're gonna try these types of tutorials you're gonna at least have some experience with most of the buttons and shortcuts...
Amazing animation! One thing i think would make it better, is if you animate the rotation of the emission nodes noise map. I think that would make the orange glow move around a bit, which i think would be very cool!
Great stuff for experienced users, but not very experienced ones will struggle at some parts. Even I as a user for 20+ years had to google some stuff where you just rushed through. I'm currently still in the process of migrating my brain to the new Blender interface and I had a hard time keeping track at some parts where you just assumed everybody would know what you did there ;) Keep up the great work!
If you cant see your keyframes, move one of the nodes blocks in the shading editor. Also if you dont see the summary in the left side of the time line, expand it by clicking the small arrow pointing right and if you still dont see it, hold shift and hold middle mouse button in the timeline area and pan down until you see it.
I've been trying to watch so many tutorials trying to figure out basic stuff but you honestly covered so much in such a simple way. I didn't feel attacked with terms I didn't know yet. Thanks!!!
Guys please stop complaining that this is hard to follow this is NOT a complete beginner tutorial. If you don’t know how to even add stuff or edit text go make a donut then come back. I am a 13 year ild and have been playing around with blender for about 4 months and i followed this no problem. If you put a little effort in this can be very easy have fun!
Brijesh Anchan This is great for you guys, because y’all are familiar with the program. But for newcomers like me, he is poor at teaching. He wasn’t explaining any of his button pushes or nothin. Made it very difficult.
This is great information for those who are just starting. Great job on putting this out there. I wish he would pace it in a way that people can actually follow. Take the time to truly do the tutorial and explain your steps a little and make sure people can follow you instead of having to pause and rewind every 2 seconds because you go over the material so fast that by the time you figure out where he clicked the video is already done. Do the tutorials like you're doing it for a 5 year old. Either way, thanks for the info.
Great video but: 1. Explain what buttons you are using 2. Go slow 3. How did you put color on your text (that grey one)? You don't show that in the video 2:22
Amazing stuff thanks! Had no idea Blender was so powerful and could do motion graphics too. Maybe you could do a neon sign when you have the time - like the famous 'Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada' sign.
Ducky 3D I'm new to using blender was just wondering if you would be able to make a video a bit more in depth on the rendering process, formatting, and exporting a product that we have created. Thank you.
Can someone please tell me how he goes from "add my camera" to "just like this boom" lol I added the camera but I don't know how he switched it to view through that camera. I only found numpad0 which makes it like an isometric view but I need the top view
You may just click 7 on numpad and then add the camera. You could also press R - rotation (with the camera selected) and change the angel of the camera view.
And don't forget to select the camera, press N then select the option called VIEW, there you'll see LOCK CAMERA TO VIEW and now you are free to fix camera position according to your perspective :)
Go to edit mode, then you can write your text, on properties tabs should appear "Object Data Properties" which is the Text properties, identified with an "a" Logo and it is above materials properties. In the Object Data Properties, you can edit fonts, size, paragraph etc...
Love this stuff but the node bits boggle my noggin (same with Unreal!). "Connect the flux capacitor to the energy matrix and then back into the shadow generator". Wut?
You need to explain the hot keys better, besides clicking and saying BOOM. I don't know the hotkeys that well yet. I have no clue what keys you are using!
He pressed CTRL + ALT + 0 (on the numpad) to align the camera to his current view. It also changes the view to be looking through the camera, that's the reason it changed visually.
@@gunner4568 thanks.. i successfully emulated my numpad in my laptop... it takes to much time to render a video which i never succeed, is it normal to wait fir hours for a 2min video?
Thank u very much for this tutorial I finally created cinematic text Ik what shortcuts or buttons u were using so it worked for me But for others who doesn't know have hard time Pls include what ur pressing Anyway I will continue to watch ur more videos And once again thank you
Love this a lot, it would be very useful if blender had easy in and easy out just like how a lot of adobe products have the option for keyframes so you don’t have to do it manually
Excellent video 2 years on, I just found it lmao. Im new to blender and exploring it and the video helps me today as well. Good video, but in future ones, can you please tell us when you switch modes as I thought I was doing it wrong lmao thanks.
Also for me to fit my text perfectly in the box like you did I had to play a little with the camera ( focal length and distance) so that it can fit in perspective view
I get how people would want you to explain what keys you're using. But as for me, this was really good intermediate to the point tutorial. Thanks mate. (maybe you could add "Intermediate" in the title or description to guide the viewers properly)
