What kinds of bake times were you experiencing during your demo/tutorial? Because i am following along, using roughly the same settings, and i am seeing bake times well north of an hour for the same 150 frames. And i'm not on a potato: Intel I7 with 32gb ram. I've never done CLOTH sims in Blender, so i dont know if bake times like this are expected. Historically when I've done rigid body sims, slow bake progress like this involves MASSIVE amounts of objects and/or frames.
Hey there! I'm using Blender 4.2 - in the "Capture Attribute" Node is no "Attribute" Output...also it looks different then your node here. How do i connect this to the Group output? Or do i have to do an additional step?
Hello, using 4.2.2 this tutorial is not possible to follow. The Capture Attribute has changed apparently, @BlenderMadeEasy please reply with the workaround as this tutorial sort of stops at the point you introduce that node. Thank you! Edit: Never mind, after searching about this node, it has changed visually but not functionally. Just connecting to the unnamed sockets will still end up giving the correct result.
Don't use the value node then. Just put in the number into both lengths in the Resample Curve Node. The value node is only to make it easy to change both lengths at the same time but it's not necessary. It's just for convenience.
