I saw Alex and Sue on an upload recently, in London. A RU-vidr asks random couples in London how long they have been married and how they met, well on this occasion he asked these two, who explained they had met 34 years ago on the blind date show and he had picked Sue, contestant number 2 and subsequently got married and are still married, I think the upload was from the Summer 2022.
Oh really? That makes me happy to hear. They really seemed like a great match & genuinely seemed to like each other. Nice to see good people make it as a couple!
Just found that out & it really makes me happy to hear that. They’re a great match, lovely people & really seemed to genuinely like each other. It seemed like a great foundation for a long-term relationship, so it’s lovely it worked out!
meetcutesnyc brought me here ☺️ Just the ladies intro alone lets me know he picked the right one. #1 “chasing all the men👀” #2 singing, dancing, and acting silly 😝 #3 wants a fat wallet 💸. #2 seems sweet and kind 🥰
This was peak TV. I miss Saturday nights in the 80’s and 90’s. Blind Date, Beadle’s About, Bullseye, Gladiators, You Bet, Big Break, Stars in Their Eyes…
The woman are so feminine, the 80's 90's so sweet, men clean shaven, kind, caring, real gentlemen. Growing up back then was so much fun everyone go along, people could take a joke and people were not serious it was simple. You didn't need a lot of money to have a good time. Technology has destroyed us socially. Feels like a different world. People are so aggressive nowadays.
Just wonderful. Real people. So many people are uptight and fake these days. We're all ridiculous, life is ridiculous really, so have fun and go for it and don't take yourself too seriously.
@@In_Need_of_a_Savior There is a celebration for them planned at St Michael's church in Pelsall where they married. Sue's mother still often gets asked about how the couple are. She has great things to say about both of them and how happy they are.
