My wife is in her late seventies and has never worn makeup of any kind. She is still as beautiful as the day I met her. Be happy with what god gave you. Beauty comes from within.
No social media = Happier times. People were more focused on real life, and not self obsessed. Nowadays it looks like every woman, has come off a conveyor belt, same pouting botox lips, same rows of over whitened and veneered teeth, same filler filled faces, they are walking environmental hazards they have so much plastic in them, and the guys are not far behind. Plus, they all look miserable.
Amanda knew exactly what she was doing when she did this show, it was the social media of the time. She wanted exposure and eventually had to marry a star to get her foot in the door. She never got into fame by hard work, she got in sleeping with Les Dennis then dropping him from a great height. She'll never be able to hide that fact.

It's patently obvious that she had zero talent and she used poor old Les Dennis as a doormat into the world of 'showbiz'. She never really gave a shit about him, she only cared about his connections and what they could get for HER. She was nothing but a fame hungry user. Quite true, she definitely was never going to stay with Les, rather like Holly Wilougby who married a much older TV producer and hey presto, she’s on main stream tv.

Cilla was a very unpleasant person off camera! I know that to be fact firsthand! Definitely lost sight of her roots! Not the grounded, down to earth, entertaining Scouse Woman who’d come good from humble beginnings as she portrayed herself!

Actually at this time she would be living in London as she graduated from mount view theatre arts presumably from the BA acting course which is a traditional route into the industry for actors and west end performers. It would make sense to say your from London if you’ve already been living there for 3 years through your drama school course.

Amanda Holden was not beautiful back then and is not now! Great figure but unremarkable. Not a head turner, that’s for sure. As she is now….well that’s to do with having the money to have the extensive work she’s had done! Compare her to someone like Cameron Diaz, who is natural and stunningly beautiful! Also Cameron is a very lovely person in real life, unlike Amanda! I know this from firsthand experience!

Mark. I no big fan of Holden. No real strong like or dislike. But I can't let BS lazy criticism go unanswered. She is NOT talentless. I've seen her live on stage in a musical and she's got plenty of talent. I guess the critics think so aswell as she was nominated for an Olivier Award for best stage actress for that play. And she's got a great theatrical stage singing voice. Talentless she IS NOT.
I once worked with a ground worker who did work at her house. Claims she slept him and took it up the back door. This was around 2013/14. We All said it was bs but he was adamant it happened lol 😂

Pleasant memories of Saturday afternoons as a kid. So wholesome. For ages I thought her name was Cilla Blaaah. Then my parents informed me that not only was she called Cilla Black, she used to be a pop star. Amazing!
I actually remember this well - I'm tad older than our Mandy - Looks very different in this and the speech vocals have deff had some coaching as she cert doesn't talk like this any more!

I did performing arts at college, and one of the lads on my course went on, he was the one picking and they went to corfu i think. i loved the show. Think he probably went on for exposure and i expected to see him on tv, because he was a brilliant entertainer but he has a regular job now.
Funniest bit is 14:50 to 15:01 where slinky Amanda walks off and after he bites his fist in regret... only for it to switch camera to the other bird as she pulls a silly face like Henning Wehn.
