I would love to see an hardcore R/NC17 Rated transformers where both autobots and decepticons blast their way through earth with 0-Zero regard for human life. Would make a Great Horror film...
The film was definitely underrated... so people are talking about it now... There was just too much TF going on... They need to start filming in about 2 years then they can hit it again.... And I'm Sick of the G-Rated Shit... It would be so kickass for TF to just invade earth and everyone just gets totally fucked... Just a straight up You Lose Horror Film similar but better than Terminator 3 where the machines win and earth is fucked..... But the studios don't have the nerve for it... ... fuckin pussies...
I love that the Decepticons in this movie very clearly consider themselves to be acting heroically, and that Autobots are essentially terrorists. Especially in the way Blitzwing is so very overconfident insulting Bee as if he’s a lesser person, even declaring a death sentence and annunciating his words like the Decepticons are an upper class.
Funnily enough, his helmet does look a bit like an HGU-33, which is the helmet ANG/AF units were using (though they started trasitioning to the HGU-55, which I don't believe has the visor shield, around the late 70s).
I like how Bumblebee losing his voice was never a thing in G1, but then Bay introduced it and it's just become synonymous with his character. Honestly, you can despise his Tf films all you want, but losing his voice has definitely helped make the character so iconic.
And to me it's only work and should only stay in live action movie because they can use actual quote from other movies or show and music for him to talk when it happen in cartoon it's just isn't work you can either have him make annoying buzz sound that viewer can't understand like TFP or annoying, random but convenient quote for him to talk like cyberverse season 1
I love the fact that Bee doesn't have "a voice", he just communicates differently, either in a way that few can understand like in TFP or with song quotes in the movies. I love "silent" characters like Snake Eyes or Black Noir, Inumaki, Elizabeth and Saitou, they're ironically more expressive, and it makes B so much more cooler imo. In TFP his boops and beeps were nice on the ears
Graphics were definitely top rate... Film was underrated. People had such bad experiences with the later TF films expectations were down and of course no one can admit when they're wrong.
Well the director is a top stop motion animator, he did films like Coraline so you can tell that he certainly put a lot of detail in the transformations for each character, it’s amazing seeing how the director genuinely cares for Transformers!
You can because the movements aren't actual fight moves, they are just one character moving from point A to point B in a pose that looks he's trying to attack or he/she's being thrown.
I like how Decepticons still maintain a semblance of Bay's evil robot faces. Works to differentiate them from the Autobots while keeping the original more toyish designs.
@@jakestark2483 and you got only 1 subscriber and no content, so what was the point of you saying "nobody's agreeing with you" 😂 And fans usually don't hate the bayverse designs. So there's need for you disrespecting another person just because you disagree with their opinion
Something I love about the older designs is that you can clearly see damage. In the Bay movies characters would get the shit kicked out of em and you couldn't even tell who was winning until someone died. There weren't enough solid bits to be able to tell. Here, you can clearly see who's getting shredded and I love it.
I don’t entirely agree, Bay usually showed who was taking damage, especially in the forest battle, you could tell who was getting shredded (Grindor), but this movie makes the fight scenes feel more like a slug fest, which is how most fights would actually be, while in the Bay movies the fights were usually smoother and much more choreographed. It makes it feel more realistic, and the fact Blitzwing had a real personality helps.
This movie had the best actions scenes of the live-action TF movies so far. There wasn't excessive camera shake, and the scenes were well lit so you could actually tell what was happening.
@@CLSGL honestly every transformer live action movie has great VFX (Besides the first one well because it's the first but it's only a couple of scene) But the fact that after every movie the VFX gotten better and better so good that they look real Fun fact: some scene they put someone in a gaint bumblebee suit So half of these effects are practical
Tbh, Starscream already towered autobots in first Bay trilogy, and even in G1 seekers were taller than most autobots (besides Optimus, Ultra Magnus and Dinobots, of course). So it's not something new at all
Oh the irony of movie haters hating on the movies because "it's not g1" yet likes blitzwing because of his g1 seeker look and their point still stands of "hating it because it's not g1" still stands and they ignore it
@codified likeness utility maybe they were building up on him in a later movie he will be rebuilt and given a much more g1 look. Not sure if it’s possible
First of all, a lot of people has criticized this decision of making Blitzwing a random Seeker. But some has actually warmed up to the idea of him not being G1 accurate by seeing this as another take on the character.
4:22 Nerd momment here but: If you pause at that time stamp and fullscreen it, you can see some pretty interesting stuff on Bumblebee's HUD, like energon storage, internet connection, current location and details about the vehicle he's scanning, like for example height and lenght aswell as drag coefficient. On the next screen when he zooms out of the camping van, you can see ''cycle disguise modes'' so that means he can switch from previously scanned vehicles.
"Did you think you could hide?!?!?" Is such a small sentence that says so much. I also love how Blitzwing just casually beats the shit outta him. He's done this many times before to many other autobots. Bee was on the verge of death before getting a lucky shot in while BW was being cocky.
This movie was pretty dog shot and cliche for me honestly. And I don’t really like the way the transformers look I much prefer the first 3 bay movie design
Dude you must be meaning live action cause transformers the movie is a complete masterpiece and you better not dare insult it the bayverse you can bash
Uh, what? You wouldn't be comparing Blitzwing in this movie to Starscream in the Michael bay movies, right? Because, they actually showed Starscream in this movie during teh Cybertron sequence. He's in one scene along with Shockwave and Soundwave.
soscobra well I was referring to the original HASBRO animation of the 80's my friend not some michael bay movie,...but honestly I like this movie version of Blitzwing, and I got his figure statue here in my shelf and he's awesome :-)
Blitzwing being an F4 Phantom made me super happy, and to see when the missiles came out he had Sparrows AND the sidewinders just blew me away, normally movies are never that accurate.
@@CHEESY_SOUNDW4VE Michael Benjamin Bay, As a former director of the franchise, you are a traitor to Transformers and our hear by sentence to death. 3:06.
What I notice during this scene is a little bit of foreshadowing that Blitzwing was going to die while he was talking. At 1:35, he gets hit right after he finishes saying something cocky, not expecting that Bee was going to fight back then. And he ultimately dies while pronouncing a cocky death sentence, like he feels he is better than Bee, as so many of you have aptly pointed out. Great scene, great movie.
@@crimson9306 bro, if the first live action was a one off, I'd love it...but they haaaaad to make more. Blackout was my fav in that one..just because how powerful he was in that lol
I've rewatched the 30th Anniversary Edition of The G1 Transformers Movie so many times by now I've completely lost track of how many times I've seen it.
"Tell me where your friends are" "I'll never talk" "Mmmm... ok, i could torture you until you answer my question, but I prefer to rip off your vocal system"
@@thegermanfool8953 No, that's not the point. The reason why torture is a terrible interrogation method is because all it does is get the victim to say anything until the torture stops. The torturer has no actual way of telling if anything the victim said was the truth.
With this scene and the cybertron scene, most likely the best 8 minutes of the entire transformers franchise since the first reactions to the forest fight between Optimus and the other deceptions.
@@darthchilde8880 long term story is needed otherwise people will lost the interest.. Although people had already lost interest in TF5 made by bay, lost 300 million MCU is best example, focused on story and character, now became giant storytelling cinematic universe
@@darthchilde8880like the dynamic camera work here and it flows so much more imo. maybe thats true but i can never fully appreciate them bc of all the random effects being thrown at me every 5 seconds
I like how they add little details to make their voices sound like it's coming from a module in their bodies. The only other movie that had this detail was the 2007 Transformers movie.
After watching rise of the beasts and the bay’s transformer movies I come back to this to see how much cooler the fight choreography is, feels like something it of a comic book ngl
@@sniparz_4204 Nah. The general airframe design of the Phantom is what makes it highly observable on radar. Older Phantoms (until later versions of the E and S models) could also be seen visually from a few miles out, since when not in AB/Reheat, the engines would belch a ton of smoke.
It’s also a change. Apparently in most media where Bumblebee gets his voice box destroyed Megatron is the one to do it but here it was Blitzwing. Nice change in my opinion. Megatron does everything important now so it’s nice not to see him directly involved in something. Also Blitzwing is an underrated decepticon
It’s crazy how the G1 styles actually worked out lol BUT I’m never forgiving them for TF4/5 and for making Blitzwing look like fucking starscream How do you screw up that bad
VNY D he doesn’t have the blue arms or the square head or the canons on his arms. Starscream appears in the film. And yes we all thought that because we didn’t know at the time it was gonna have G1 designs and we thought it was a completely different story.
Phantomkillerx5 In most of his incarnations, blitzwings triple changer ability is due to experimentation. Theres a popular theory that since blitzwing, shatter and dropkick were all killed on earth, some humans could have collected their parts and rebuild them together to create their own transformer. And some points that could foreshadow this are : shatter and dropkick are triple changers so this ability might be fused onto blitzwing. Shatter and dropkick are red and blue respectively. Guess what color u get when u combine red and blue? Thats right, purple.
At first i was salty about the discontinuation of the bay-verse, but i like that the rockets from Blitz wing are actual blasts and not just fireworks and sparks. Then i like that they look more whole and not constructed by complex parts where you cant tell what part of their body is what
I wish Blitzwing kept the three faces from the Animated series. Angry face: "DID YOU THINK YOU CAN HIDE?" Smart face: "Tell me where your friends are hiding." Crazy face: "You'll never talk? Then let's make it official! AHAHAHA!"
I am still confused to all hell why they wasted Blitzwing in this movie and they didn't just have this 'Con be Ramjet because C'MON PEOPLE, *HOW IS THAT NOT RAMJET???!!!*
@S.J.T Studios Transformers The Movie 2007: The Tank is Devastator Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen: The Tank from the previous movie was actually Brawl and the combiner in this movie is Devastator
@@Ironluke_2001 yeah but that was a simple subtitling mistake, everywhere else he was Brawl. Unlike Blitzwing who's Blitzwing in all other merchandise. I still think it was a waste and he should have just been unnamed given his short screentime
2:34 Blitzwing: then let’s make it official Also Blitzwing: and I somehow know EXACTLY where your voice box is cause I randomly know my cybertronian anatomy HA HA HA
Blitzwing sounds kinda somber when he declares B-127 as a traitor and sentences him to death. Kinda as if when it gets down to it, he doesn't really wanna kill him, it's just what he has to do.
I know bay verse didn’t make this movie but who ever did they did an amazing job in this movie more in the G1 and I can tell who is who for the first time and also the voice that plays the transformers are outstanding and the villains are amazing 10/10 great movie great graphics cgis and great fights are awesome Wait I forgot there was a kid in the movie Ok 9.5/10 cause of that
Shouldn’t the hummer that hit bumble bee receive damage too, I mean, bumble bee is like full on cybertronic metal, which at least would be something similar to a car, therefore inflicting a pushback no?
Well u should know the bumblebee is a ordinary autobot still, however Optimus is a "Prime" the Primes have way more special abilities that no other of there kind has, so they can receive much more damage than a ordinary autobot
It would have been interesting if bumblebee didn't shoot him and rather just got away knowing he was about to lose consciousness Meanwhile blitzwing uses his few operational boosters to fly away before removing the missile jabbed into his chest Then the rest of the movie place out as normal with blitzwing just spying on Bumblebee and the human
