they should have put it in this season they even did say you could get uber uniqs after 55 that was BS i did level upp 9 chars to 100 and nothing + farming all gear so sad better late then never :(

you have to remember that staff is damage to CC'd enemies only comes into play against staggered bosses plus using a staff will lose 2 aspects and Only have the staff as damage, i doubt that will work out well but we shall see. sorc is Really bad at the moment an this CDR nerf will be BAD teleport builds will fail
A good tempering fix would just be using that item for a certain amount of time/xp/kills gives you another roll. I’d use it and it would be exciting when you finally get what your looking for!
Damn, that actually looks nice. It might be even better than season 4. I did not expect that, because season 5 is about to be shorter. But they did put some effort into it. I guess we just have to wait and see how this will turn out in the end. Looking forward to it. Thanks for the video, mate :)
Unrealistically, seasons should be 3 weeks at most, everybody is done by week 1 and casuals clean up in the latter 2. 2 months is what they should be and 3 is way too long. I know they can't make 6 seasons a year but still.
I really appreciate the way you break this down quickly and succinctly. I have ADHD so I get bored watching some of the other content creators with their endless commentary about each specific change. one uneccesary feature id like is to dismount the horse/cat but not have it disappear. id love to hang out with my mount without having to ride it. Also, better pet animations perhaps?
not gonna lie, this update is going to be so so so fun to play through. the boss updates are nice, its easier to target farm, the color change is nice so you don't have to pray its a mythic(uber), new unique and legendries will help make more builds so we have diversity in builds

Why is RNG in tempering? They said they are afraid of players holding on to items. Seasons fix that (Eternal doesn't matter). There is already RNG in every aspect and vein of the game so just give us something we can control so we can enjoy our items.

Once they start making really solid seasonal mechanics, those mechanics need to carry over in some way to the next season like in POE. That's the only real way to build an endgame without doing something really groundbreaking in the genre. You need more than just a single seasonal mechanic to keep interested throughout a whole season imo.
I know it's a small change but i love the new unique beam. I'm always going through my inventory and thinking " Oh, a unique. Didn't know i picked that up."
The rogue-like mode sounds like a lot of fun. A bit underwhelmed about the tempering changes right now, but this is definitely another season I will be playing.
I'd like to see the rogues invigorating strike and blade shift get love... and the poison trap should get reworked. Instead one per cooldown. We should be able to drop 1-4(or more with an aspect or affix) per cooldown... and for the love of the franchise remove the cooldown for dodge...
Grim Dawn's "The Crucible" is the comparison you're looking for. So glad Blizzard are finally feeling comfortable with learning from the best that's happened in the ARPG genre and transferring it to Diablo IV. Trying to be completely unique and create something nobody has ever seen or heard in the age of information and mass communication is a lost cause and often results in failure.
Wow it seems they do actually read their tweets.. I’m sure many many others posted the same suggestions. I suggested a survival mode and return to hell theme to them I think back in season 1
it probably costs more, it only guarantess 1, if you want 3 you have to do it a lot, which costs a lot, and getting the correct one is also super hard, there are so many different items
If you look at the video it is a possible roll for the item that opens the activity, like nightmare sigils giving more xp etc. Also it looks like it cost way more, it said 250 aether and you get maybe 25-40 per run.
The new roguelike mode isn’t just seasonal. It’s like the pit and is a permanent part of the game. So I’m not sure if we are gonna have another mechanic or not for the season
did they mention anything about not tormented bosses dropping items way below 925 in WT4? resummoning is nice but this feels so bad specially when you get a good unique or a GA and its item power 800
I really like the campfire chat they are actually trying to make the game better and add core and game mechanics. I think we're at the point in game development where no one's going to come up with a 100% unique idea... Instead borrow a really great idea and make it their own. That's really all we can ask for at this point in time. I haven't seen any game come out with something so new that it's moving the needle.... Going to really have fun on the PTR next week
@@MMoer PoE 2 will have a few hundreds of unique monsters as far as i remember, not to mention 100 unique bosses. How about Blizzard introduces let's say 20% of that ? :D
by the way Hell Hordes is not seasonal mechanic. It comes to Eternal and PTR will be the Eternal version. We don't know yet what else the season will bring
Its only my own opinion.. but seems they changed leader in there.. from season 4 its so much work and so much good stuff in the game that is actually hard to believe.. Unbelievable.. just pre-ordered new dlc ... ❤
Just started playing. I can only play a hour or 2 a week. I dont want to keep making new characters every time I reach lvl 25. What do I miss if I follow my dude to the non seasonal server? I'm mainly following the main story. Thnx
Games with seasons that have a non-seasonal switch at the end basically all follow the same pattern: You keep anything you already obtained, and can do any content that is not locked behind seasons. For the most part, this would mean any new features added in the next seasons would not be available until that season ends, and there may be a few top-end items that are only available to find/craft in seasonal play. If you're just following the main story, it probably wont effect you at all in that way. The only thing you might really notice is a lack of other players, as the vast majority of players do jump to the next season.

If I have a piece of gear with max damage stats I should be able to save that and put it on a piece of gear I actually use. That would make building your sets way easier. Everything in the game should be able to be saved and put on gear you use.

ptr is most likely, as with other games, completely seperate. When you port a character over, you're making a copy with all the same stuff and name. You are not actually moving the character over. As such, what happens to one will NOT effect the other.
They should do ptr for consoles as well cause there could be bugs that could happen with them that don't show up on pc due to different coding running the game
I hope at some day, they gonna revamp numbers. I am tired of hitting for 55 000 000 000 000 000 000 00 damage. Make it max 150 000 for absolute top tier and thats it.
It seems like they're taking inspirations from POE and D2 and making a genuinely good game from it. Each patch only makes me think of poe more. New endgame, non general uniques, better gear system etc seems good. Eventually I'd like them to go back and touch up boss's, add voice lines, maybe variety in the early.
The new mode sound fun. The new legendaries and uniques seems like it will make grinding through a higher number of legendaries till you get one that is good. This seems to be a giant step backward. Adding temper rolls per ga seems to be a small band aid fix to a much larger problem. I don't know why they are so fixated on defending bricking well rolled items. The larger number of uniques means there will be huge variances in how powerful these uniques are. Overall thought: Diablo IV is like a candy crush game. Have fun, don't take it seriously, ignore the top level of anything leave that to the content creators. Mass kill mobs at levels of difficulty that are fun for you.

BLIZZARD, Make it so necromancer can control minions agro ,so we can focus kill target , and make some usable uniques that gives extra minions and golem , one aspext for 2 minions is so cheap , there should be an unique that changes your type of minions into something powerfull
I don't understand how they plan to balance barb when every time they buff items, they buff barb, intentionally or not. Even if it's not as powerful as another 2h weapon, these classes need another item slot. I think druids would still be weak if you gave them another slot for totem, or an extra ring slot or something.
How can they still not offer us more inventory space. It’s fine if you only use a couple characters but they should offer way more room in storage just make it expensive like last epoch. Last epoch has so much room and you can organize it with groups and colors and icons. Why not give us at the least a few more tabs or make it so there is one shared tab with all your builds but each build has its own inventory. That would be more than enough. Incant imaging having more than 3 or 4 builds and trying to keep your inventory from filling. I like to save items that are rare and I might use in a future build.
The Pit bosses made me rage quit in S4, like you can kill everything fast and even still take some hits and the boss takes forever and most attacks oneshot you. Especially the Slither (tanky, even for bosses for some reason and in combination with the shadown it is just mega spam with oneshot stuff mixed in there) and the Sharshooter (stealth and oneshot moves) are bad for me
Blizzard thinks there is too much RNG, which is out of the player controll. Blizzard also thinks, let RNG decide, which tempering affix is on uniques. Did i understand that right?
They cooked a corpse that's been dead for months. It looks better but still poisons you when you eat it. For me they can make everything they want, if they not change the core game it stays trash. They colour the shit golden but not replace the shit with a cake

Unless you want to have a full rework of itemization and skill system, then no, i don't think it's ever happening. More like improvements similar to the "loot 2.0" for S4. @@DoctorStrange01 maybe do more than 2 decisions per skill you pick. Aspects are a no brainer because there is always the best option per slot because the game is so linear in scaling and builds. That's why barb is so broken right now. They don't want to do sets with 10000% multipliers but have to buff base skills from druid to do 100000% more damage to make it even comparable to other things. Mandatory uniques are trash. Why should I play my character for 100 hours, excuse me, why should I basic attack on my druid for 70/100 hours I play until I get best in slot gear and even then the problem is not fixed. The core game is not changing. Btw, druid has a spirit regen per second tab in attributes when there is no spirit regen per second in the game because they deleted it before release and did not balance the class around that trash decision.They just make it less tedious when you play the good classes. Otherwise you get nerfed or don't feel a change because the changes do not affect you because these changes are not the core problem that makes your class or build not possible to play. I know it will never happen. I just hope so and watch patchnotes but even if they fix it. I would not pay 200$ for 2 expansions because that would be in an expansion because they know that is the biggest drive for new and old players to come back so they should pay 300$ for the base game. I am not a game dev, I don't have to give them my ideas it's not my job, it's theirs to have as much player retention as possible and they failed hard. Maybe they should have hired people with better ideas than they have. and the majority agrees with this, otherwise they would not slowly change the game to d3.5. they try to save the player base and turn this game in a 10 year old game because it had more concurrent player than this dumpsterfire has
S5 also deletes both viable rogue builds so we're just left hoping there will be some good new uniques and aspects... otherwise rogue will solidly slide back to 5th place of all classes, being the most fragile class also with the least damage. Thanks, D4 devs!
