So, I know they reworked Bastion because his old way of play was too easy to camp and lost basically all skill. However, I think OW1 Bastion could work with some tweaks: 1. Reduce his self repairs effectiveness by a certain % per source of healing exluding it. So if he's getting pocketed by a Mercy, a Lucio, and has a 76 can on him, his self repair would basically be non-existent (if reduced by 50% per then it wouldn't have any effect with 2 or more people healing, and in the case the mercy is damage boosting him, it'll go down by 50% in the case of the other support healing him.) 2. Make it so his passive damage reduction in his turret form gets reduced over time. If memory serves his DR was 40% while in turret or tank. Keep it as is for tank, but while in turret, maybe make it a sort of charge, where it goes down the longer he stays in turret mode, but slowly recovers while not in it. I don't know how fast though, maybe 5-10% per 1 second in turret mode, until the DR is 0%. Then while out of it, maybe it recovers every 2.5-5% per second? This encourages the bast to be mobile, but doesn't force it with a massive cooldown. Instead you just run the risk of dying by being stationary without the protection, but if you play the far more fun flanking Bastion, you never really have to worry about it as you're never in the turret mode for super long. 3. While I love the grenade, either make it another button (like Roadhogs trap) or just remove it. It's cool, deals decent damage, but Bastion, especially OW1 Bastion, can easily live without it. For sure old ult was so much fun. I think it would be cool if they repurposed bastion ult into a replacement ability for bapt where he turns his weapon into a mortar for a few seconds letting him heal/damage. Replacing immortality.
name 1 thing ow2 has done that’s good😭i quite literally can’t name one. they removed features reworked characters that didn’t need them or reworked them and didn’t change what the problem was about them. push was a garbage game mode so far all the new gamemodes are bad samoa literally the only decent new map. rein is unplayable in 5v5. oh and did i mention 5v5 is hot garbage?!!……. ya know after naming all the bad things at least we can all sit back and play a relaxing and fun coop PVE with an awesome skill tree right? right? nope.
@@rage_tv4493 yeah, I know. I’m coping hard. Maybe one day they’ll realize it and bring us back the magical and exciting game that OW 1 once was. People were even WAY less toxic back then
so just remove rein from the game then? no that’s fucking stupid. old bastion ult yes. never going in third person for some characters who desperately need it? no that’s the dumbest shit i’ve ever heard
