OLD news about class, class was revealed to a few when game released. Myself and Rhykker and few others....Even though Rhykker acted clueless about it. Blizzard back then sent us the class for our thoughts on it.
indig your channel and will check out your ER gameplay. if its your first soulsbourne ring just take your time. explore, have fun with the game before trying to beat it. with that being said.. the copium im seeing in these comments. look i know we were all excited at s4, but let’s be real, thats how it should have been day 1 and to be honest its still lacking. now we’re six months away from a dlc and they have just started to really fix game as it should have been at launch? the dude does not abide.
Pet has bad pathing. I just Sorc teleported down a mini cliff, and there was a destroyable barricade, and i had to run back and destroy it so the pet could follow me
@@lukestam Waaaaaaaaaaaat. Are you surgesting that the great Blizzard Entertainment, would ever REUSE any of their own stories ?!?!?!?! I am shocked XD
Absolutely agree. I'm in the camp that thought the story was pretty damn good for an ARPG. Sure, it was told pretty badly, which made for an serviceable story in the end. But the bones of it, its tone, its clear storyline and overall coherence was pretty damn good. Lilith and Inarius were absolutely charismatic characters. The side characters were actual characters. So all the while I played D4, I just thought: the story would have been so much better served in a different video game genre. But I'd love it in a different medium as well.
@@lovethepandainyou The story would've been better served with less pointless padding, while the leveling system forces you to rush it. It's a great story, with great cinematics, but new Blizzard doesn't know how to *tell* a good story. Player retention and getting them to spend money come first. Compared to D1 and D2, it's guilty of multiple cardinal sins of pacing, which also make it a slog to replay.
@@professorfleX420 as he said the cinematics are awesome? But Diablo 4? I play 1-2 weeks and get bored. Which is fine, just nothing compared to when Blizzard released one masterwork after another.
In terms of cinematics this was honestly one of the worst in my opinion for the Diablo series, aside from being pretty much just a boat cinematic with good visuals the rest was just some mind game that never happened. I compare this to the Lilith cinematic pre-release and there is really no comparison it was just objectively better then this. Seeing this cinematic really gave me no hype at all for Vessel of Hatred and to be paid content I need to be hyped, this did no justice for me especially because this side story in Diablo 4 itself with the soulstone wasn't even interesting.
sir its an expansion with a new class and campaing. it always has been that way since the 90's for blizzard games. idk why you making it sound like its a big deal. 40$ is equal to 4 burgers nowadays
@@KnEpH131 Depending on how old you are, battlepasses et al in full price games were marketed as being a source of funds for development of content that then wouldn't cost players.... $40 for "witchdoctor", one zone, and pets in a game that was full AAA price, especially considering the plan is to do this every year. Should be $20 max. Reaper of Souls was $40. This doesn't look anywhere close to RoS.
@@rwvfsu07 Well, I can't argue that. I'm excited for the expansion. However, it appears to mainly be a cosmetic money grab. The cinematic rips off the story from D3 and I could add a few more things. My question is what exactly is "new" in it? I'll still get the base or deluxe edition regardless. Depends on what I have available in the next month.
“A story of isolation, and the impacts it has on you when you’re trying to protect the things you love the most.” Describes the D4 experience pretty well
HOLY FUCK THE PETS ARE SO COOL AND TOTALLY FITS IN THE DIABLO FRANCHISE, ESPECIALLY HOW THEY MADE THEM LOOK, CUTE AND CUDDLY MMMMHHH SO COZY. AND IT'S SO NICE THAT THEY DONT ADD ANY WEIGHT TO THINGS YOU HAVE TO PICK UP. THAT MAKES THE WHOLE LOOTING SYSTEM FEEL HOLLOW AND POINTLESS JUST THEY WAY I LIKE IT. AND I HOPE THE MERCENARY CAN PLAY THE GAME FOR ME, THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME SO I DONT HAVE TO LEAVE THE TOWN.
spiritborn class looks an sounds like the return of the witchdoc aspect but a melee version of it. was kind of hoping for a class that plays off the demonic/angelic Nephilim aspect of character .
The Paladin Order basically crumbled around the events of Diablo 2. The Zakarum faith that the Paladin Order was built upon was founded by Mephisto, and when Diablo began his search for his brothers during the events of Diablo 2, Mephisto used the Zakarum to spread his corruption throughout Kurast and the surrounding areas(where the D4 expansion takes place). With the faith fully corrupted the Paladin Order fell apart, and the only reason why the Crusaders didn't was because they were all off fighting a Holy War somewhere during it all, but artwork and stuff you can find throughout the world in D4 kind of hints that the Crusader Order also fell after the events of D3. The Assassin from D2 was basically merged into the Rogue in D4 so there's no point in really adding an Assassin, they just need to make Melee Rogue not suck. The Witch Doctor has been piecemeal'd into the Necromancer and Druid and probably the Spiritborn as well so they'll probably not make a comeback any time soon.
1) It’s a free QOL upgrade, no ones forcing you to buy cosmetics. That sounds good? 2) So the game on release wasn’t your to your taste, but it’s now decent. So you have the option to buy an expansion pack for what is a decent game. What’s not to like?
Since the patch yesterday I can no longer get off my horse. The button reacts but I don't dismount, I have to run into a group of mobs and let them knock me off. Anyone else have this issue?
Fat people can be healthy too. Not all fat people mind you, but some people's bodies just seem per-dispositioned to be able to function normally while overweight. Like me for example, I'm 6'5 350lbs. I see my doctor every 6 months to get a routine health checkup and every time I go he tells me that my exam and labwork both show that my stats are all exactly where they should be for a healthy person. My Good and Bad Cholesterol is where they should be for a healthy person. My blood sugar levels are where they should be, etc., etc.. He's actually surprised I'm as healthy and my body is in as good condition as it is despite being a large fellow. Can I run a marathon? No. But most skinny people can't run marathons either. But I can run a mile I can touch my back I can get up/down from the floor easily I'm not winded easily, etc., etc.. I have heartburn issues though thanks to a crippling Coke-Cola addiction but that's about it. Granted I'm probably the exception and not the norm but still, some fat people can have healthy bodies, it just all depends on if that person does what's best for their own bodies needs and not what some self-help guru yoga instructor tells them they should do. Like that guy who lived to be 110 or some shit by eating nothing but bacon and coffee from 82 onwards. The moment he started a "healthy" diet because his doctor was appalled by his diet, the dude croked within the year.
My thought exactly and my other favorite class rogue is busted and cannot play melee with the skill kit. Well you can but it's not viable for the current endgame content. I just want a simple shield guy lol
@CajunGator Shill alert! Shill alert! Wee Wooo Wee Wooo! @OP I don't think they'll ever add in a Knight class. Blizzard has pretended to of gone woke these days remember? And according to the woke handbook Knights are misogynistic cis-gendered male power fantasies. It'd be a mortal sin(or a Nappy as they call it in the Woke community) to have a Knight in shining armor save their lead female protagonist. Because remember, our characters are only relevant for gameplay reasons in Blizzard titles, we're not important in the main arcs of modern Blizzard stories.
That cinematic was absolutely brutal, I’m going to be honest i didn’t think blizzard still had that in them with how soft wow’s story has been recently. Gives me a very slight amount of hope.
I am a bit worried about pets picking up loot, as I have seen them in other games and they become an "opportunity" to spend money. Not just from a cosmetic point of view, but other games have done things like adding bonuses like exp boosts etc. I guess we'll see what they do with them.
I gave D4 a lot of flak when it was released, but the pets are super useful, the new class fits the jungle theme, and loot reborn to me was a huge improvement. I also like that you get 3000 plat with the top pre-order.
nah they just took the cultist and monk and combined them. basically another druid. we have 3 druids. Barbarian is a druid, druid is a druid, and this new one is a druid.
Honestly, with an expansion at 54$ in Canadian dollars for the base expansion, I will think twice before getting it. I mean, I would probably enjoy the expansion campaign but I haven't played since Season 2 before Last Epoch and POE were much better and giving me much more bang for my bucks. I'll see but honestly, none of the versions above the base expansion are worth it to me...
People really expected them to annouce Paladin even though they already said it wasn't in the expansion.. people really need to fix their expectations or just listen it's wild
@@leederlee possible eventually just like Paladin... for this expansion/announcement no it wasn't, they said it was new and unlike anything in diablo. Never was going to be a holy paladin like class, anyone who thought they'd get the holy class they wanted is wild, after all the talk about it though I can see it for next expansion if it isnt already planned. Best bit is personally I hate paladin classes in majority games and glad it isnt in the expansion as only class.
@@leederlee are we talking about pre base game? Then yeah I understand that but going off what they spoke about in the previous announcement it wasnt going to be a holy class. Realistically if we are going off leaks (which i assume the image your referring to was) it had leaked and was all over the internet that it wasn't a holy class and was Spiritborn..
@@jheicobguzman6132 The dog is free, but the other dozen pets they will release in the future will not be. The pet system only exists to farm money from the players.
The only thing I'd like them to do with pets is pick up boss mats as well even if that means your pet has an inventory and you physically have to grab them out of there, which I'm totally okay with. Because having to pick up every single rare to pick up the boss mats is really fucking annoying.
I brought this game enjoyed it soo much, season finished. was excited for a new season and then i see you have to make a new charecter to play new season yeah never played again
It’s a little too early imho, I would have waited another 6 months but I guess they want to hit the iron until it’s at least warm. Quite surprised they are still keeping the Pala/Crusader/Templar/whateverthename in the closet, according to old rumors it was basically a finished class.
@@ghoulbby The High Heavens closed their gates after the events of Diablo 3. That's why demons ran rampant on Sanctuary because there wasn't any holy magic to deter them. That's also what made Inarius' return such a big deal, he was an Archangel that could grant holy magic. So, when a new source of holy magic is introduced, or the Heavens reopen.
@@Vexkion That's not really how it works. The Light is inherent. If you lose your faith in the LIGHT (not any specific entity), you lose your power. The prime evils and lesser evils are why demons are running rampant, and in previous Diablo games though the High Heavens was perfectly fine, Sanctuary was still overrun (because of the reason mentioned.)
The Cutscene was pretty cool, but more MicroTransactions (Pets etc) and a new Class noboby asked for, thats kinda like a second Druid, really makes me think I will just play POE 1 and the EA of POE 2 until something big changes in Diablo 4. My wishes for D4s future would be Paladin-Class, Item-Sets, non micros transaction armor-sets that look better than any buyable one (as they promised at the beginning), a visual update for unique items (its super frustrating that they look so boring and many doesnt even have a unique look). I really hope they gotta change direction drastically and manage to make it a great game in some years, because the gameplay itself feels good.
No Paladin...Blizzard is at War with the light, even in Wow they are gutting holy characters and trying to blur the lines between light and shadow. They hate goodness, blizzard is Mafisto
