Thank you, Paulo. That's quite a neat solution to ink swatches and Rhodia paper is very good as we know. I myself use Blank Business cards ( made from 180 gsm card stock). These, when swatched, can be stored in an A4 Business card holder which is stored in a ring binder.

That is a good care in organization... I keep mine in ziplock bag, inside a cardboard box. I guess I need to find a better way to store them.

OdE i usually use the “field notes” notebooks, and they served their purpose. i found they ran out quickly because i use my notebooks for drawing usually. surprisingly, i rarely use them for notes. the rhodia notepad just has more pages. i trust rhodia’s quality with anything i put it through.

@@shutupandy6110 That is another world... drawing. I love it but I am not good at it. I only use them for writing notes and sometimes to make sketches (not artistic ones, just useful to memorize something or some idea).

I always quite like these pocket or even passport sized notebooks. Lined, dot-grid, or blank. They are very useful to me for various note taking situations and purposes especially when I’m out. I use them from time to time. But not for ink swatching, something I seldom do. Now, despite its universal good reputation and being recommended by everybody for fountain pen users, Rhodia paper has disappointed me. The nature of the paper’s coating and other properties somehow make my writing appear too thin and most of my inks somewhat dull. Maybe its absorbency is such that makes it appear to me so. I still love and prefer Tomoe River best any day of the year. Also, Graphilo is just as good. And there are a few others that I prefer over Rhodia.

I like using the passport sized notebooks and use a Midori Taveler's notebook. They have one insert available that I think is made of Tomoe River paper. The Rhodia paper is nice and meets my demands as a user of F nibs. That is my personal experience, I understand there may be different opinions. Graphilo paper... Never tried... Something I need to start searching for...

I guess maybe my relatively larger writing and my overwhelming use of broad, stub and recently cursive italic nibs have something to do with my continued disappointments with Rhodia, and one or two other papers I have tried. I love Midori, enjoy Apica C.D, Life Pistachio and, of course, Graphilo which is on par with Tomoe River for me. It’s also almost as pricey, though. I have a little claire fontaine notebook where I write down the date, pen and ink...thanks for the presentation.

I confess I am not that organized... I just have a separate A4 sheet of paper where I write the pen and the ink inside for each moth and then I cross the ones that get empty and add the ones I inked. The next month I start all over again, copying first the pens and inks from the previous month that are still inked. This newlly made list is what I use as the base of my "Pens for the month" videos.

@@OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita Aw cheers! I just plan on making my reviews from more of an art perspective. Like is the ink good to draw with or not. Dont see much of that kind of thing on youtube, I went looking for it. I just wanted to fill the gap in the community :)
