Drain addict , I find it relaxing to watch you work. Your good at what you do , a master of drain cleaning. Magpie, croc, and Ratty are great help and entertaining too. Love your channel!❤️
DA is courage under pressure. I would have freaked out watching that black water rising up the glass shower wall. Best channel on RU-vid! Cheers from Florida.
Another great job from Ollie and Ratty. Getting to the ROOT of the problem and clearing another blocked drain. Now i know where the phrase " Like a drown rat " comes from !
What a nice mess. Glad you were able to fix their troubles, and even gave everything around a bath or a shower. Nice. Ratty finally got that bath he needed, even if the water was a wee bit dirty.... lol!! Getting closer to episode 500!!! Can't wait to see what kind of mess we have for that one!!! Have a great rest of the week!!!
A man walks into a diner one day, walks up to the counter, and proceeds to order a bowl a chili. The waitress says that the man sitting next to him just ordered the last bowl they had. That man was just sitting there, not eating the chili. After watching him not eating for a while, the first man asks him, “Are you going to eat that?” The second man replies, “No, you can have it if you want.” So the first man takes the bowl and starts eating. About halfway through the bowl, he’s chewing when he feels a crunch. He looks down only to see half a dead rat sitting in the chili. He immediately throws all of it up, back into the bowl. The second man looks at him and says, “Yeah, that’s about as far as I got too.”
I only hope that it is giving him a decent return for his time and investment doing these. It’s hard to quantify what it is about his channel, but it’s easily the best drains one on here, though the American one with the two lads is pretty great too but they haven’t uploaded in months now. I wonder if it’s the right combination of information, location and the slightly exotic?
Unclogged a drain of my own after watching a few of your videos. They're so satisfying, and entertaining. Unclogging my own drain with a garden hose was actually incredibly fun, and I'm considering going in to plumbing!
Thanks for the video. Also, the same bathroom floor tile was installed in a house that my wife and I lived in from 2018-2019. That was in Whittier, CA USA.
When that water went down in the shower, I realized I was holding my breath the whole time! I kept waiting for the occupant of the house to come through the bathroom door and see Ollie in ankle deep water, a makeshift dam, and Ratty swimming around.
I once ran a snake down a kitchen sink drain that was clogged. The snake turned up the vent instead of down the drain. I went outside to look for the banging noise and saw about 10 feet of snake laying on the roof. It had been flopping about up there while the drill was spinning it 😆
Momotaur { NEM } I’m going with teleportation! 🐀 or Ratty ran down the drain 🏃🏻♂️💨 Confused me at first and had to rewatch. Noticed the cut on the 2nd time of watching!
I even went back to check the footage! The white plate was empty and then the video cut! I'm like... wait there is two of them?!?! Can be only one Ratty!
You are not alone, I've even starting answering Ollie on ratty behalf and I get some strange look from my kids when I do, my youngest said you do realise he can't hear you?
Was dumb of them to cover up the drain junction in the bathroom floor, but I think the design of putting a drain in the bathroom floor vs just in the shower (very common/pretty much all you see in the US) is a great idea. Makes cleaning super easy vs the standard cheap US bathroom where only the shower or bath can get wet. I've always thought that the perfect home would have tile floors and drains in every room so that cleaning the floor would be as simple as getting out the hose. 😅
@@maxd4968 interesting. Makes sense in a lot of ways but I understand wanting to allow for cheaper construction and not having these codes here in the US
I was getting nervous when Ratty started floating but never doubted you'd get it done , thanks Ollie! Btw, you should check out "NY Drains" , he has corn and is just starting out.
Ratty has gone swimming! I like all your videos, especially when Ratty is the ⭐️. And the Kookaburra sounds, means something really gross is coming out. Thank you for your videos.
I ran into the same problem a few weeks ago trying to hydro jet my shower for the first time. Man, could I have used your instructions on how to navigate the head through that first 45° turn in that drain with your “bend, jab, and turn” technique. Wreaked my boggle trying figure it out while our shower pan filled with that black gunk in the water. I went to bed trolling YT for a clue - and then it was there, right before my eyes in a side stream: a pipe bladder. The expandable bladder that expands the width of the pipe and fills everything in front of it with water. Less than minute… “Poofffffluusssshhh”. Ran it for 2 minutes for extra measures. I plan to revisit the jetting in attempt to clean the sides of the pipes.
