I have never read the books, and even i knew they completely blew the blood and cheese scene.

Did you prefer the book version? It looks like that Helena dream about this for long time, she should left King Landing or drink Moon Tea so she wouldn't have any children.

also why was blood and cheese part kinda fun and enjoyable, but it kinda makes sense that blood and cheese went after Aemond, also the part were Heleana had to choose made it so fucked up like this was kinda bad, the acting was great but this scene was hilarious

Because silver hair is SO common in KL LIKEEE……OF COURSE she’s the eldest known female Targaryen in KL. That was so goddamn stupid. The small folk would at leas know that even if they didn’t know her face. And the “they killed the boy” line???? They just killed your son babes….. That blood and cheese scene was so underwhelming. Are the show runners scared of showing blood or violence What was the point of alicent sleeping with criston Cole? It made no sense. Healena was too calm for a mother who's child was beheaded

Amazing video!! - Uuuuuuh, people need to stfu about the whole "F&B is inaccurate", that only works as an excuse for specific scenes in the dance, not the whole book. And it certainly doesn't excuse stupid changes. As you said, important facts with witnesses are well documented, and whenever maester Gyldayn clarifies something that's almost certainly George giving us a clue of what was the most likely scenario - You're so right about Helaena, they wanted to create a Cassandra of Troy but her whole environment is so unreactive to her that it is like she isn't saying anything at all. I like that they added small writings and predictions in the walls and papers in her room, but people don't/can't appreciate that in the episode without a proper zoom, so it's like it isn't there. (Interestingly enough, George's comment on the episode gave us a little nugget of lore about book Helaena, which is that she loved to fly on her dragon. It is barely something, but at least confirms she had a bond with Dreamfyre she clearly lacks in the show, and also confirms that Rhaena's dragon didn't spent ALL the time locked - Mysaria the socialist, I cackled 🤣 - Cheese forgetting everything and then kicking the dog was so weird. And the maid part was odd but funny, she was like "Not my monkey, not my circus" - To praise Phia a bit, I will say that her acting, especially her face and eyes, were so good that I think she added enough change and intention before pointing to Jaehaerys that Cheese interpreted it as truthful (and in her case, I wonder if maybe she was unintentionally answering truthfully because of her role as "oracle", but that's just me trying to find sense in a weird scene) - Maelor the Missing (credit to GRRM for the nickname) makes me wonder if they plan to make Helaena be pregnant at some point this season, or if he will never be born, in which case... Will Jaehaera take his place? - The poor dog was very cute, to be fair - You're drawing is gorgeous, it has so much emotion too!

have you also noticed how we haven't seen any explicit sex scenes of nudity even in brothels? They have perverse dragon magic tapestries everywhere, but for some reason the Targaryens on this show are very conservative with their sexuality. Plus I'm glad you're calling out the gaslighter's plus it's obvious the showrunners only cared about writing a story about patriarchy bad, women oppressed. If not for all these incompetent, greedy and wicked men, Alicent and Rhaenyra would be married now and having the best love story in Westerosi history. Only characters decently written were Viserys and Aemond.

Are people really still crying because they didn't see a kid being decapitated on screen? If you had any idea of how the filmmaking industry goes you'd know it's next to impossible to film the scene as in the books. You can't subject child actors to that kind of trauma. It was already bad enough. The Sophies choice element works in the book but not for the show. Helaena is clearly supposed to be autistic so her reaction makes sense. Finally, F&B is written by the perspective of the Maesters, the showrunners can change whatever they want because of the unreliable narrator aspect. I think they've done a fantastic job with season 2 so far. The writing, directing, acting, production, music all of it has been incredible. This season feels very shakespearian/operatic which gives it a vibe thats sorely missing in films these days. Maybe people are too used to how flashy and shock value eqsue media has become and can't accept any ambiguity.
