Bloodborne Living Failures OST phase 2 

How cruely ironic that the creatures literally called "Living Failures" are the ones to finally achieve connection with the cosmos itself.

Me after realizing I'm a Bloodborne boss

I always looking at the Living Failure's reaching towards the heavens as them begging for help from forces unknown, then music kicks in when their prayers are answered.

We know, we are easy, we are living failures after all but we have this: Raise their arms and music starts*

That picture is really cool and fitting as well.

Absolutely love the implication that the Living Failures finally succeeded at achieving attunement with the Great Ones (when they send down the meteors) right before their second death in the Nightmare, but it does raise the question as to why they weren't able to do it before they were killed off the first time.

Myazaki and his team are the kind of people who can design a boos fight with the power to rain celestial meteors upon the earth, summon balls of arcane power to shoot at you, and upon portals to pocket dimensions full of pure energy to blast you with, all while having one of the beast themes in the game. And despite all this, these creatures are still considered failures, I consider this a lesson of how high the standards have been set for Fromsoftware's bosses, and they still deliver. Also, this is irrellevant, but for a long time, I misread the boss' health bar as "Liver failure"

I don't think anyone will read this, but seeing the number turn to 200000 overnight made me feel something. I'm glad you guys enjoy what I did with this song. Share the love.

I haven't even played bloodborne but the music, especially this track is consistently amazing.

I remeber hearing this in one of the trailers before it came out, then it wasnt in the base game and i was like "fuck i guess they didnt use it." then i got to this boss day 1 of the dlc and creamed myself. Especially because as soon as the chorus came they all started their AOE and it looked like they were the ones chanting. It was amazing.

A question I've always had was why are the living failures considered "failures" even though they are way more capable than the celestial emissery wich is supposed to be their "complete form"?

Wow, I don't think there is a better picture that perfectly correlates with the song. The cult like raising of the arms by the Living failures, and the loud choir just goes hand in hand.

I recently started reading Berserk and when I got to The Eclipse and everything that happened during it, this is what was playing in my head while reading it. It just fits perfectly in my opinion. A sudden onset of something so colossal; cataclysmic but grandiose happening that can’t be stopped

I hope, if we get a Bloodborne 2, that this will be used in a boss fight against a Great One. Maybe slightly altered like Gwyns theme in Dark Souls 3.

The two dislikes are from Lady Maria and Orphan of Kos, since they are next to be killed after the Living Failures. What a beautiful soundtrack though. I get chills every time I hear it (as well as when I see them summon their starry night with those meteors).

A chorus of disperate, wailing voices. Hailing the universe that they failed to measure towards. They are flailing aberrations, keenly aware that they are failures. Desperation, misery, and yet they still worship the existence that made them the abominations they are. Devotion so deep even their damnation to being monsters can't shake it.

My favorite thing about this song is something a reactor pointed out which is that while many of the Bloodborne's OSTs have sad chords, this one has happy chords. The difference between these cosmic beings and some abominations from the sewers is very noticeable in the soundtracks.

Just destroyed my ears listening to this at max volume. But it was totally worth it.

idk but living failure seems a kinda "hopeful" Boss. They're considered disgrace and unworthy of the right of living but, through collaboration, they're still able to achieve their original purpose and reach the cosmos and this theme represents very well the holly joyfullnes this creatures felt after seeing the heaven open in front of them
