When I was a kid and teen, I had NO idea how great they were. I sang their songs, but I had NO idea what i was singing. I'm 33 now, and now I wish I could have joined their concerts.
a few years ago there was a guy giving away a voucher for spending a day with Evil Jared in my city. i still regret not taking it. even though he probably would have wrecked my apartement...
Haha.. Im 35 now, and I saw Them 3 times when they where on top of it all... - here in Denmark.. Damn they did all kinds of crazy shit on the stages back then😂🇺🇸🍺🍻
Literally just heard this for the first time, on Belgian radio, and had to pull over to find it. What a joy, there’s more! This 60-year-old four-time granddad hasn’t lost it yet 😎🎸
Oh well a Canadian Dutchman would gladly suggest stoned jesus to a 60 year old Belgian. I am the mountain is popular but they have some good artwork through multiple albums.
Man i fucking miss the 90's early 2000's... This song. The movies. No bills no relationship problems no pandemic. Nobody cared about the world. No social medias. Just "hey you wanna go smoke weed and watch half baked?" -Hell yeah bro!
Same here. I always knew them and a couple of their songs, but never quite realized how great they actually were until I started to pay more attention to the lyrics and how clever and fun they are. I really miss them in today‘s musical landscape.
i was served by jimmy pop at the pensylvania milk shop called "penzolz" and he was friemdly and nice and basically did all the right things in serving me my milk with dignity and respect and also i felt really warm and fuzzy inside. thank you for the lovely experience, i shall be recommending this milk shop to my friemds and family :)
The Bloodhound Gang are way underrated as musicians because of the immature songs and lyrics they're best known for. The lyrics are always full of clever wordplay, the songwriting and musicianship are tight, and the hooks are catchy as hell. They deserved to be a lot more successful than just being known as the band that did "The Bad Touch" (although that is a great song).
They have a lot of weirdo stuff I wouldn't listen to though, their pink Floyd thing was fucked too. Still, a good 4 or 5 songs atleast. A lot of mid 90s bands even in rap, were only good for 1 or 2 so really that's plenty to be proud of.
@RcUniverseGuy This video alone is pretty fucked up if you think about it. They doused him in gasoline, which could only mean thing, causing extreme fear for the victim, but they didn't light him on fire. Talk about psychological torture.
Anthony Rivera hahah i don't. 2 wars happened in my country during the 90s. but we also has some major sport achievements, a music was great. no doubt about that. greets from Serbia!
Your talking about Pop Punk. Yeah, I know what you mean. It's one of those genres that in my opinion even though the grow cheesier over time, there still good no matter what. Like 80s pop. Like anything, that depends on the artist.
I FKING HATE MY FKING GENERATION 90,80,70 and 60 WERE THE FKING BESTT IM SO PISSED I NEVER GOT TO SEE NIRVANA SEX PISTOLS AND CORY IN THE HOUSE I FKING HATE MY GENERATION
While it’s not great from a critical standpoint, it definitely does hold up. Same could be said for a lot of stoner flicks from back in the day. (Up In Smoke, Dazed and Confused, Friday, Half Baked, etc) I love all these movies for the record.
I am like 32 and listening to music every day for 20 years and the distorsions melodics and lyrics in this song are as fresh as first time I heard this song.
Thanks for this track. It saved my life several times when things were really rough for me. I know you probably think that your music is just a joke, but it saved my life. When I had nothing and no one, it powered me through the hard times. Thank you Jimmy, thank you bloodhound gang, you are amazing and your music is amazing.
Wow Bloodhound Gang saved Jesus Christ? That's serious! Sorry had to. But seriously this band for all it's "jokey" stuff could really get you through tough times with some laughs. There were a couple songs good for depression and breakups, like this song (which also just rocks) and for me "I'm the least you could do" and many others. It's a shame people didn't take their serious stuff seriously. They wanted "Bad Touch" all the time. But they were capable of so much more.
What a great song, I love it! I put it into my "Shellshocked Radio - Recommendations" List: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_fIpbE-H_KM.html Very well done!
These guys didn't receive any airtime in my country after The Bad Touch and Mope, so this is my first time listening to this song. Loving the post-punk/goth rock vibe in what is an enjoyable pop punk track.

what your name Mary Jane lol :D damn HALF BAKED was AWESOME,, Bloodhound gang pure AMAZING AMUSEMENT, my friend had a cassette back in times when it came out, damn what a hell damn good songs!! not for kids though :D
How great it must feel to still get a kick out of anything after all these lobotomized years... I can only imagine. It's the same with laughter, when was the last time you replied to something funny with 'lol', 'hahaha', 🤣,, [...].and you did more than sharply exhale through your nose? But nostalgia for simpler times are wistful. Times when kids were still allowed to sit in the cockpit to talk to the pilots and wonder at the million buttons, for example. I was born early enough to still be able to experience that, and I will be eternally grateful for that. For the fact that I was able to experience the pre-9/11 western world, the pre-politocal-correctness-über-alles world. And now I'm a 30 y/o wage slave in a western world that has gotten fat and complacent with the erosion of their liberties. And I have been depressed over this and I've gotten over that depression - but the world remains the same, I only learned coping and keeping my head down and keep going. Do you still have hope that we will ever see 'simpler times' again, or our chjldren or grandchildren? Whew lad, that was a depressing comment on a funny music video, sorry about that, friendo.
@@jeremyj.5687 Take a step back dude, life is just fine... you're just focusing on all the bullshit, and that was always there. Ya, tragedies have happened... you're still free to be happy if you choose.
i had no idea they covered the association! one of the most interesting covers ever. i love the association and the original version, but this is great!
I was in a cafe in Amsterdam high off my balls, and the freakiest, scariest music video was on the tv, and I couldn't handle it. Then it ended, and this came on, and I never felt so damn good in all my life. Respect bloodhound gang for calming my drug infused paranoia!
Hello There! I’m Angie and my dream is to be a singer, I have some covers of me singing on my channel can you please check it out? I know is a lot to ask but please help me, I’ll be grateful to you.
i was 14 when i first heard this and i kind of remember it being my first experience with modern heavier music. what followed was slipknot korn soad and all that good nu metal stuff into heavy metal and hardcore
Listen to this song, than listen to the 1960s original and how they completely transformed the sound, and tell me the Bloodhound Gang aren't good musicians.
Such a great cover. I keep playing the Association's original (amazing in it's own right for 1966) - then Bloodhound Gang - Amazing innovative genius splendiferous cover. Association/Bloodhound gang - Lather, rinse, repeat....
Super-underrated band! Love them! My two favourite albums are “Hefty Fine,” and “Hooray For Boobies,”. I used to have “One Fierce Beer Coaster,” but it was stolen. At least it gives me an excuse to buy the rest of the discography. I’ve always wanted their first and last album anyway..(I haven’t heard as much of “Hard Off,” as I would like - time to go check more out)
My boys, still played nearly every day, I still play kiss me where it smells funny...I think I was 16 or 17 years old and now I'm 40 soon to be 41...I'm still rocking with the BHG, legends, a privalge and thank you. Forever...I teach and show everybody I meet, this shit needs to be shared, its not just a flash in the pan.
dude! cky was the shit! hilarious and had the best music ever! I'm tired of the hip hop culture of today. nut shots and rock and roll baby, 90's were rad.
