All that and yet hidden in every song are intelligent references and historical facts. I will happily keep listening to old music and ignoring modern radio.
Late 90s barely it's 1996! I suppose you could class it in the latter half but really I would say by 1999 it had changed from this - I mean I don't agree this is the sound of where they were approaching the year 2000.
SuperDirtyDiggler Yeah, I have all the seasons of Viva La Bam and BHG has been on the show like 5 times? Plus Jimmy is in 2 of Bam's movies. The band and Bam are actually really good friends. Mostly Jimmy and Jared are really close with Bam.
@@kwaddamage8286 ill never forget the 1999 new years eve. I was staring at the light bulb during the count down wondering if the lights wpuld go off at the end of the count down from Y2K. 😂
I just started listening to their discography. I thought they were a one-hit wonder. Couldn't be further from the truth one great song after another. They should have been a lot more successful than what they were.
I simply can't explain HOW Much I love this song when I first heard it on MTV!! Played the video like twenty times in a row. I was just getting into rap and rock and this was exactly what I was looking for!!
It's really weird to listen to this without "lift your head up high and blow your brains out" following it up directly. Prob the byproduct of having this album on a cassette tape when I was younger.
Sainey Lowe oh yeah, oh yEAH, OH YEAH, well where did you get your clothes, the toilet store? *high fives Jesus and they ride their motorcycles off into the sunset*
@@JohnJohnson-sy2ee Look at the lyrics to their songs. They're loaded with history and science references as well as '60's and onward pop culture references. So I have to agree with the OP ad say No to you.
I hope in distant future when man kind has been long gone only sign of our existence aliens find is full discography and music videos of blood hound gang.
I had to look this up because I was singing it awhile ago. Twenty plus years after it came out and I still had the lyrics pretty much spot on. High school sucked, but damn did we have some fun music.
Knowing how much Bam loved this band back in the day... it makes sense why CKY looks so similar to this video... seems like it was the blueprint for what would become the CKY films
I remember back in the 90s when I was in high school, my friends and I jammed to this album almost daily. Like the intro said....."here's the event you've all been waiting for!!"
I remember listening all day long to this song during my early teenage years. My mom would always come in and be mad, because she thought I watched porn.
"like a DC10 guaranteed to go down" I never understood that when I was younger but now that I'm an adult who watches plane crash documentaries, it's fuckin genius.
Crazy to think that there's people born in the time that this song has been released, who are now old enough to drink. At least, in the nation of Canada. Those unfortunate enough to have been born in America in 1997 or later still has to wait.
