you bought your cat at the right time - prices now are through the roof. I may be wrong but I think the cat market was only just recovering building enough to replace all the hurricane damaged cats in the Caribbean and then covid struck production. Prices are way, way up - there is nothing affordable on the market now.
Probably, yes, but this is not a popular cat. It's old fashioned, very slow, engines are almost always too small, and most of them need a lot of work before they are okay. And not all years are good either. But yeah, when there is not much on the market, people tend to become less picky :-)
Beetje lastig als hij al uit elkaar in de container ligt, of niet? :-) Hij lekte hoe dan ook op een van de ventielen. En nee, we hebben geen nieuwe en kopen die ook niet. In principe kan deze cat niet zinken. Dus het enige waar we bang voor hoeven te zijn, is brand. Maar brand ontstaat 99 van de 100 keer terwijl een boot in een jachthaven of voor anker ligt en dan kunnen we op ons gemak in de dinghy stappen of naar de kant zwemmen.
Niet bang zijn dat de koelkast niet horizontaal staat. Je bent op een schip en dat schip is nooit horizontaal, zeker niet als je aan het varen ben. Succes.
@@DoubleUThings iets van een elasticje eraan om het open te houden doet wonderen, toch moet de deur dicht blijven om de koeling in de koelkast te houden en NIET erbuiten. Het is en blijft een varend opjekt dat beweegt op het water zelfs als er een meeuw een poepje laat.
