Hi Filmies. Great haul. I’m a big Fulci fan too and Massacre Time is good but not the best in Vengeance Trails. If I had to rank them I’d go Bandidos, God Said to Cain, Massacre Time, My name is Pecos. It’s a great Boxset 👍 Years of Lead is very good too, all the Eurocrime tropes are found within 😜 Like Rabid Dogs/Savage Three are sleazy Rich Kid/Thrill Killers. Highway Racer/Colt 38 are the car chases, tough cop crime action. No, the case is happily resolved is police procedural, man wrongfully accused etc.. even has shades of Giallo. 👍 another good Italian Boxset - took me a week to get through all of it 😜🤷‍♂️

Regarding the Children of the Corn set which wasn't addressed in the video, the first film does also come with a Blu-ray disc as well as the UHD.

Wow, you are going to love Salem's Lot! By no means scary but just a brilliant Stephen King/Tobe Hooper combo. Look out for Texas Chain Saw visual references towards the end. A genuine classic!

Awesome, pleased to hear you liked Heavenly Creatures and yeah, amazing deal for $1. Ready or Not is really good. I was really disappointed with Psycho Goreman, the family ruined it for me. Valentine is good fun. I'm not familiar with Cannibal movies either, so havn't seen Green Inferno. I havn't seen Lake Mungo, it's one of the a very few Aussie Horror movies I havn't seen. The Strangers is amazing and yes, the motive is extremely chilling. Sarah's face looked so shocked when you said you prefer Strangers: Prey At Night, Matt. I love the sequel aswell. I kinda rate both movies about the same, for different reasons. I love Cat O Nine Tails. Children of the Corn is awesome. I like Sarah's Chucky shirt.

Awesome Pickups! Ready or Not and Freaky were some fun watches. I need to get that Green Inferno Edition. I really enjoyed that film. I have Lake Mungo and have not seen it yet. I enjoyed Dune it had some Nice Visual Effects but the film is strange(It’s Lynch Of Course). True Romance is so Good My Favorite Christian Slater Film. I need to pickup The Daimajin Trilogy Set. I enjoyed the Video and Take Care!🤙🏼

Lots of good stuff there. I also remember being scared sh*tless by Salem's Lot when I was a kid but as an adult I find it much more tame today but I still enjoy it. I have that release as well though the steelbook version and recently also picked up Return to Salem's Lot which I actually have never seen so looking forward to checking that out. Great to see some love for our own Aussie boutique label Imprint. Been getting them myself since they released and I really like them (though they are a bit pricey). You should like the Lynch version of Dune. It's hardly a faithful adaptation of the book and you probably need to be familiar with the book in order to fully grasp what he's done but the look and feel... atmosphere...casting ...I think are great and the soundtrack is great. It is a bit of a product of its time and I believe it has a lot of studio interference which is a shame as I would have loved to have seen Lynch's true vision come to life untampered. I really enjoyed the new Villeneuve take on Dune. It's not perfect and I could definitely criticise elements of it but that would be nitpicking and are more things that are my own personal opinions and observations rather than any inherient flaws in the film. I will say though that again, although more accessible then the Lynch version for those who aren't familiar with the Herbert novels, I think it helps to have read them to get more out of it as it doesn't really delve too deeply into the different histories and concepts. They are mentioned and there are some things implied but only at a very rudimentary level. Having said that I look forward to part 2 and hope they end up doing Dune Messiah and Children of Dune and even beyond if we are lucky. Would love to see Villeneuve do the rest to keep the look and feel consistent and because all in all he did a bloody ripper job I think (despite my small nitpicks, but few things are totally perfect right? 😜). You did well to get that version of The Human Condition trilogy. I picked the up second hand as well about 2 years ago (but in mint condition) and it wasn't cheap lol. Hope you did better than I did! PS: I hope you put that spider outside? 😜. Didn't sound like it though lol. R.I.P. 🕷️🕸️

Great update guys, loved Ready or not great film to have in your collection, have you seen The Hunt which came out around the same time? not seen Freaky yet but everyone i know loved the film. I need to pickup Salem's lot, its a tv mini series but really good, freaked me out as a kid. i have heard good things about The Mothman prophecies so will try and hunt that down. The Strangers is a great film, i want Second site to release the sequel which has never had a UK Blu-ray, and i agree with Matt that the sequel is the better film. love Mallrats and i do hope Arrow give it a UK release. Not a big fan of the original Dune but did love the remake, Children of the corn boxset is great and its about time they released another franchise boxset, i want Critters next lol. Mark
