@@dhdusidjdjso nope, I can clearly hear Javier's double Bb... We're talking about an overtone that (if my ears are correct) is a concert Eb (F on trumpet) that's about an octave and half above Javier's note. You can only hear for a second before Javier rips his Bb.
Am I seeing/hearing this wrong or are they breathing in, holding it 4 counts, then playing? I hear a big woosh of them breathing, nothing for 4 then playing. If so that's certainly different, but maybe what they're taught.
I suppose that means that you can't have any marimba, or any trombone, or euphonium, or tuba. Just because it's called that doesn't mean it has to have that.
You're completely right. Eventually they're gonna start having dumb stuff like strings and woodwinds too. This is nothing more than a twisted way to ruin tradition and kill the foundation of what created drum and bugle corps to begin with.
