USING OUR 1150R ROTATOR TO LIFT A DODGE SUV OUT OF A CREEK. ALSO FIRST VIDEO WITH HELMET CAM AND BOOM CAM TOGETHER!!! LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. www.paypal.me/RotatorRon If you like my videos.....tips appreciated but not required.
Please, before you ask.....Yes, in Missouri, towing and recovery vehicles are considered Emergency Vehicles and can run red/blue lights and sirens when requested to "EXPEDITE" by an authorized agency. Also, we aren't given the reason why we are requested to EXPEDITE. When we are requested to do so, we do so without question. The dispatching agencies have their reasoning. I know it is strange to a lot of people, but it is legal in Missouri. Anyone that is interested in the particulars of the Missouri law, I have a link to a video where I explain this in depth that you are welcome to view. Thanks and God bless. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a10si2tvX10.html
i was just about to ask if this was in Missouri because in Illinois they are classified the same. because of St Louis Missouri and Illinois both work together.
In Wisconsin, Tow Trucks are considered emergency vehicles and it is state law to give them room when they have their lights on but that is mainly on the Interstate. Move over or slow down for stopped emergency vehicles.Nice camera views on both angles.
Durango Dave I am not an RR person the first time he did that I wonder what he was doing. The second time it dawned on me what that was. This man is a real prow at his job.
I don’t know how many times here in Ohio I’ve seen the aftermath of wrecks on the interstate where I see the entire u-shaped bumper fascia laying in the center emergency lane next to the barrier. I’ve seen the tires plus many other things beside the road. All just waiting for someone to hit them and cause a secondary accident. It is so gratifying to see you take the time to leave as little evidence of crashes as possible. Even though water damaged at least the owners will know and not wonder what happened to it sometime down the line. You never know what articles have a special sentimental attachment to them. I don’t think they stop and consider how much risk they’re causing to subsequent drivers in this state. Thanks for keeping people safe as they drive.
I have a relative that worked for Stepps Towing in Seffner Fl, he has told many stories of accidents, respect to all tow drivers and prayers for the work you do and knowing people died in some accidents. Thanks for what you do, and prayers that you say for others. Camera on boom is great, wave next time..lol
I'm always impressed how you manage these bad situations with such a considerate and professional head on your shoulders. It's like a lesson in leadership.
From one tow guy to another, you sure are doing a great job of representing the towing industry to the public in a professional way. Thanks for the videos, I’m learning a lot from you Sir.
You nailed it. I couldn't have done it faster this 1150R is a BEAST. I am glad to see how you make so effective use out of it. And yes GOD BLESS everyone who was involved.
I just started watching these video's recently but I have to tell you I am impressed. I'm impressed with how you treat your helpers and how respectful you are to all around. I am impressed with how you always ask for prayer for the injured. God bless you and your business.
Thoughts and prayers go out to all your tow drivers and also prayers for all the victims fast recovery. Stay safe and always watch your 6 on those busy roads.
Healing prayers for the lady driver.....Helmet and Boom cam worked well together...... Once you placed all of us viewers, on the Boom, looking down at you.Next time give us a wave.. LOL Blessings and be safe.
I have just found these and am watching from the UK with amazement the skills involved and the measured calmness which Ron brings to these stressful situations.
That’s team work, knowing your equipment & just plain ole good knowledge. Great job.. You guys move fast but safely. Get that road back open. This is a top notch recovery team
i respect what you said about people who dont beleive, i personally dont but im not here to fight. im here to thank you for being the way you are and i send my thoughts to the lady who was driving. great job once again
Ryan Sharp no one's asking you to talk to anybody, and I thank her remark was addressed to those who want to pray, and us who absolutely believe.. if you don't believe that's your business,,but evidently you're more worried about it then all of us,, because you are constantly on a Christian page somewhere denouncing God,, if you are so convinced God is not real,,then why are you so hell-bent on convincing people who are laughing at you for saying something stupid like that. it's almost as if you know God is real,,and because you have already doomed your own soul to hell you are trying to drag us along with you. you will never make us believe that God Almighty is not real,,,because we absolutely positively,,and without a shadow of a doubt know that God Almighty is very real.. we are not dropping smart stupid comments,,or casting them out in your direction,or trying to drag you away from what you believe in,,which is undoubtedly Lucifer. it is so apparent that you very much believe Satan controls hell,,which is why you are in here doing his work in the first place..we are not coming at you with slurred comments in fact I'm sure none of us care that you have already sold your soul to the devil,, but don't you dare insult my God right in my face.. I don't care about your opinion,,in fact I could care less what some idiots believe,as their souls were lost long ago,and I won't waste my time trying to save them. I came here to see a professional tow truck driver do his job and,, I too love his God I also respect the man his videos, and his worship of God tremendously..tell us again stupid why are you here,, it's apparent that you serve satin, and you might get offended here.I didn't drop in to hear your smart ass childish comments while trying to provoke an argument,,because you are a troll clown that worships the devil. I didn't drop into hear you trash somebody you don't even know,, or their religion their love of God Almighty,,and what they believe in. the man which makes these videos,or the lady which simply asked for prayer for this wreck victim,,so how stupid do you feel now troll. you want to insult her,,and the man who took the time to put these videos out here simply because they love God,,at least they believe in something and someone and they worship God almighty,, so if that offends you stop coming here I would,,but don't smart off to someone just because they worshiped God. I was reading pretty nice replies up until this point,or your goofy ass I should say. why would you ever weigh in on her remark with something so nasty.. how dare you question her faith, and just who you think you are stupid,,what would you do if someone followed you around telling you every minute that there was a god,, and you're doomed to hell after you've been judged of course. if you don't want to pray don't pray, and take that up with God on Judgement Day. what do you care if I'm praying,, and I'm sure the lady that left the comment will pray as well,, and in our hearts and Minds it will not be Into Thin Air either stupid.. it will be to Alpha Omega the beginning and the end..God Almighty the man that owns you.he made you,,and that big mouth that you are denouncing him with..it doesn't even belong to you you're borrowing it.. if you want to be disrespectful with it go ahead,,now you have a nice day oh by the way that's called free will,,God gave you that too...see free will can either get you into heaven,,, or Dooms your dumb ass to fire and brimstone.. I'll leave you with a verse John 3:16 look that up,,or not again it's free will.. God bless you sir and yes God is very much real..ps when I was a kid in peytonsburg Burksville Kentucky a gentleman was on my grandmother's front porch, where he to denounce God,, in fact he was making fun of God.. being a very loyal Seven Day Adventist this infuriated my grandmother,,so straight away she made him leave.he was one of my uncles good friends, and his name was old Odell Hoskins,, now you can Google that. as far as we know his last words was there is no God,,and of course he called him a really bad name I won't repeat.. when he got to the end of the mountain there in Burkesville Kentucky, and right to this day they don't know why,,or how because the weather was beautiful the truck was fine,, and it was the first week of Summer about 70 degrees outside,, but right across from the graveyard, and the family plots name is Spears you can Google that as well,, anyway he went over the bluff there, and there he died... it was a very tragic wreck,,and a hideous scene,,because he was decapitated by a guideline on a telephone pole..his last words were there is no God,,but like I said he's cursed as well. you can look at that anyway you want to,, call me a liar say it didn't happen say it was just a coincidence.. say whatever, but do read John 3:16 good day,,,,oh and Nani Nani boo boo there is a God hahaha Nani nani boo boo..... he does not even the idea of nothing have to come from somewhere someone had to create all of the emptiness think about that all this did just not appear even the idea of nothing except had to come from somewhere the concept of course there is a God and he and Satan have been battling forever Good and Evil read your Bible friend and I'm sorry your lost, and I don't mean to instal I'm trying to save you.
Ron Pratt - I love this truckl She can do anything!! I NEVER SEEN TRUCK LIKE THIS! Ive been in Missouri lot times. I still go Branson, Mo! How far are you from Branson? Im from Kansas
Boom cam is a great addition Ron. That was one poor wrecked vehicle... Very nasty damage to steering wheel. I think audio fluctuations are just AGC responding to sound spikes. Pretty good though. Prayers for the lady driver. As we can often say - there but for the grace of God go I.
I'm actually an aircraft mechanic but I do appreciate a good piece of equipment. But more than that, a man that takes pride in his work. And I will say a prayer for you and your customers.
i like your managment style and how caring you are. i also like the way you treat everyone like family. your very careful thats cool too! thanks fortaking us on your journeys
Mr. Pratt, you have a wonderful way with people. I like how you converse with troopers, law enforcement officers, and plain common folks. You're amazing!
I just want to say thank you for taking the time to film and upload these. It's a view of an industry ill likely never be apart of but it's fascinating to watch how you set up the truck, in any given situation, so effortlessly. You know exactly where everything is in every compartment. In addition, your professionalism is uncanny and your documentation provides exceptional insight into the "behind the scenes" action.
Each and every time I hear a siren - I always say a prayer! - - I'd say "never apologize for being a Christian person". Be proud of your teachings and stand tall when you express them. I would guess that for a micro second the passengers were asking for Gods help. Enjoy your content & your open expression of faith. Bless you and your crews - be safe!
I like this just as much the second time around. At first I thought I missed this one. My memory is fading away in my old age. Thanks again for the great video.
First off, I really enjoy your video's, thanks for sharing them with us. I was thinking, A&E should do a series featuring your company and the knowledge and expertise it takes to operate your equipment. Each scene you respond to is different which poses different risks to you, your equipment, first responders and primarily the public. If a reality series about a family in Alaska, where one kid talks like Forrest Gump and another punches fish can do well, a show featuring issues which can't be staged would be a big time hit. Anyway, thank you for what you do, I for one truly appreciate it. Be safe and God Bless!!
Thank you and I would certainly welcome that. Many are unaware of the difficulties of this profession, both in safety and integrity. Thank you for watching and God bless!
Yes and it was a good show but one in the USA would be a good one two and this is coming from a firefighter not everyone know what us first responses go through on a day in and day out and if they do a show like that I think that the public will really realize what we go through
I can't go into detail, but last year I was approached by a production company that creates shows for several networks. Things didn't work out....not anybody's fault, but I have to say I was relieved. At first I was excited about the thought of a TV show, but then I recognized that I would lose control of what I had worked so hard to build. I've also talked with others from various TV shows and in the end I believe this was for the best and that this is what God wants for me. It will be what it will be. I don't need fame. I enjoy helping people.....period. There are a lot of ways that this channel and its viewers have helped people and I hope and pray that this continues. To me, that's more important than having my own TV show. Thanks and God bless.
I have been surprisingly intrigued by your channel. Guess you don't think much about towing companies except to say you never hope to need one. Your integrity is a blessing... thank you... and God bless!
Ha! I Iive in a city and the towing company left everything on the street except my bumper with the license plate. You both picked up everything from a ditch on the side of the road. Different mentality I suppose.
It never ceases to amaze me the efforts you will go to in order to prevent further damage to an already fouled up vehicle during the recovery process. I know, you have to do that, but it still amazes me.
Thanks for letting me ride in Your truck. I used to go on road trips with My Dad He passed away in 2003 60 years + career died in the sleeper with engine still running.
Hi Ron I’m a recovery truck driver in the United Kingdom (England). I’ve been watching your videos and I think they’re great you really do know your stuff and your trucks look the business too. God bless you, your angel sent to help others. Barry.
You sir are very kind. Good video I subscribed, and I liked. Looking forward to seeing more of your work! Much gratitude and appreciation, travel safe.
You're a very good man. I like the way you care about all of the details -- even the little things like getting dirt in the car. Thank you for being who you are.
A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO RON & HIS HELPERS IN THEIR PROFESSIONALISM IN EVERY JOB THEY TACKLE & GOD BLESS THEM & KEEP THEM SAFE ALWAYS THEY ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF EVERY COMMUNITY THEY WORK IN.
It's clear that she foolishly wasn't wearing her seatbelt. Only for the grace of God and Chrysler engineering she wasn't killed. That Boomcam was brilliant! Totally cool video Ron.
Sandra Westley it’s a criminal offence in the UK not to wear a seat belt, all our cars have alarms that go off as a person is sat in a seat, you cannot turn it off either, so it would drive you insane they are quite loud, and the are in all passenger seats also, if a driver allows a passenger to travel in his vehicle without a seat belt, his is also breaking the law, and it also affects his insurance.
It is a pleasure watching as you relate with others and solve each puzzle in a professional AND personal manner. Thanks for sharing Ron and for taking the time. God bless.
I'm saying a prayer right now Ron . For the female driver - a speedy recovery. For you and yours I pray you only the best of health and your problem be metal , small and in reach and not under power lines .
Thanks for the suggestion. I recently found some industrial "poly" bags that we are going to start using. They have lifting handles on top. That way, in case we get something heavy, we can use the boom to lift it out inside the bag. Thanks again.
Love watching your videos, you are very professional in your work and appreciate the lack of vulgar or unwanted language. I also might add that I love your wrecker....thanks again for your videos.
@@cody_janssen831 depends, if the "bad equipment" is over-matched by the situation (of course it is also possible that the best equipment might not be sufficient for some instances).
Ron, as a fellow believer I know the power of prayer. it is nice to see someone who cares for the victims in these colissions and not just the money that comes from the tow. i found long ago that by following the Lord that i was a lot more sucessful in my buisiness dealings. a car can be replaced but the occupants can not. I always believed that prayer helped to speed their recovery. God Bless.
I'm impressed both with the speed and completeness of extraction. Completeness includes NOT leaving the trash, broken plastic and twisted metal parts originating from the accident.
Yeah...thus the windshield. People don't seem to understand that without the seatbelt, you miss that airbag and use your head against the glass to stop. Hope she's OK and thinks about it next time...but knowing human nature, I won't be holding my breath. :-(
Some people don’t seem to realize either that and air bag may not always work. I have a friend to rolled a truck several times and ended with the back end of the truck stuck in a tree and the air bags never deployed because I didn’t have side air bags and the roll over didn’t trigger the forward crash sensors. Luckily him and the passenger were bother wearing their seatbelts and walked out of it.
Great video, I feel bad for the poor lady who had to endure that crash. Very lucky she wasn't several injured, I've seen crashes like that end up being fatal. The rotator made quick work of that recovery, didn't even break a sweat with that small SUV.
