Blue Haven Beach is one of the many scenic beaches in Esperance, Western Australia. It's on the western side of the rugged coastline of Esperance. If you head out along the Great Ocean Drive it's site # 11.
Once you arrive, you're greeted by a long winding wooden set of steps that lead you down this lovely spot known as Blue Haven Beach. Although it can be a bit of a walk for some there are some seats on the way down so you can enjoy the view or take a rest before continuing on.
Blue Haven Beach is a small beach but what makes it appealing is that it's sheltered on both sides by cliffs and sloping rocks which helps keep the wind at bay. If you looking for a beach that feels secluded offering relaxation, this could be the beach for you. If swimming though always be mindful of the potential for rips.
Standing on the beach you can look east along the coastline toward Esperance or look out to the many islands off Esperance and if you're lucky you may see a pod of dolphins. Alternatively, as you return to the beach from your dip, take the time to admire the coastline as a backdrop to the beautiful blue beach.
