Great hike! I love seeing the mountains across the highway, pretty colors… Whistler Mtn and Cutthroat Peak!! Fall is a perfect time to go… Blue Lake was beautiful! 👍💙💙
Thanks Les! You might've been there since the last time I was. Maybe 10 years ago, I'm not sure. I'm planning on going back and exploring that climber's route.
Thanks for the video. Is this the blue lake that is near elbow lake? I've always wanted to hike into elbow lake, but my understanding is that there is a potentially dangerous creek crossing at the elbow lake traihead.
@@MrArtudtoo Thank you for this new information, I'll keep that in mind if I make it to the elbow lake area in 2023. I am from Oregon and I don't get as many opportunities as i'd like to hike in the washington cascades. With how this winter is going so far too, I have a feeling that the north cascades may be snowed for quite a long time this summer.
@@danielmoung9098 I deleted my reply because I had mistaken Blue Lake near Elbow Lake for something else. That Blue Lake is actually an easy hike, and it's trailhead is close to the southern trailhead to Elbow Lake.
