August 3-4, 2022. Chelan and Okanogan Counties, Washington.
The original intent was to do a loop trip; parking at Bridge Creek trailhead, walking or hitchhiking to the hairpin corner east of Washington Pass, then going up to near Kangaroo Pass and climbing cross-country south over the ridge towards Copper Pass, exploring around Stiletto Peak, eventually returning via trail leading to Fireweed Camp and back up the PCT to Bridge Creek.
That didn't work out. But still I enjoyed the exploration. The mountain goat that charged me at my camp near Kangaroo Pass, I would've rather not had that experience, but I'm glad that the outcome was good.
