just seen the vid at the grand ole opry and came looking for a more recent one, was hoping for a more gritty vocal but he's still amazing, maybe as he gets older he will develop a gritty country vocal
StaticPulse66 if he takes proper care of his voice, he will keep this clear tone that works perfectly fine for the genre. Gritty-sounding voices is actually something unhealthy, causing nodules. If nodules get worse, he’ll lose the ability to sing period. That’s certainly what we don’t want to happen.
We've been following since we first saw him at the Galax Old Fiddlers Convention. He was amazing at age 8 and continues to get better and better. Love Carson.
I am a NY-er and usually pretty immune to music like this. But Carson has won my heart. Like many people, I saw him first, with Ricky Skaggs..where he wowed the audience. Now, he has grown into a fine young man. And the song still touches the soul...what a talented guy...
As a young fiddle player myself, I'm 13, Carson has been such an inspiration for me. Ever since I saw him on the TV on little big shots, I remember thinking "I want to be as good as him some day." And I've improved a lot, and his progress has kept me going. I met him at one of his shows in 2019, and I'm excited for what he'll become on The Voice.
Carson Peters, Tennessee's gift to Kentucky. Thank y'all for Mr. Monroe. Gonna break out a jar of real white lightning and get back to my E. Tennessee roots. Some Blue Moon of KY & Rocky Top always sets things right.
@@SaneGlobe418 And we love y'all up yonder. Hope y'all are making out alright thru this global craziness. We're actually doing ok down here, not as bad as media puts out but, better safe than sorry. God Bless.
Still think its Something to see him play 5 string fiddle and then 4 , then 5 again . I don't play, but I can't see how you would keep that straight in your brain ...Awesome Job . Mainstream will never take to him , too decent and Christian, but I think he will eek out a nice living doing what he obviously loves to do at the venues that appreciate such Talent as he and Ben Marshall are . As long as the Mountains keep Sending Forth such Decent Folk into our midst , there's Hope for the World yet .
I can't believe I'm how much you have grown Carson last time I heard you sing that song you were a little boy I don't know how old you were but you sure have grown God bless you and I hope you hit the top Bee Dee
HEY CARSON, I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING YOU EVER SINCE I FIRST SAW YOU PLAYING AND SINGING "BLUE MOON of KENTUCKY" ON THE OPRY W/ RICKY SKAGGS. YOU HAVE CERTAINLY MATURED IN BODY, MIND, SPIRIT AND MUSICAL ABILITY. YOU ARE AND INSPIRATION. YOUR VOICE AND FIDDLE PLAYING HAS MATURED SO MUCH. JUST LOVE ALL YOU ARE DOING NOW....BEST OF LUCK TO YOU, YOUR BAND AND FAMILY....
Most time when these kids play young like that they get worse as the years go by Carson Peter's has actually gotten better!! Way better!!!!! Keep on playing you got this kid!!!!
Mainstream? Mainstream has “gone down the tubes” so bad that they wouldn’t have him. Not saying he won’t make a good living doing this if that is what he wants, but it won’t be through mainstream...at least not if what you mean by mainstream, is the radio.
