Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on RU-vid, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on RU-vid. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on RU-vid, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

They are a Canadian band alright BUT one of the greatest bands Canada as ever had. Jim Cuddy's voice is a nationl treasure you should listen to "TRY" and see what I'm talking about. Kudoes to you for doing this reactions !!!!

I've seen them live over two dozen times in my life. They range from Americana to punk to jazz fusion to country, such that they're really their own sub-genre of country rock. Forty years's worth of here, including 16 studio albums, and still going. I'll be seeing them in a couple of weeks at their traditional amphitheatre gig, just west of Toronto's downtown core, on Lake Ontario. I'd strongly recommend a live version of Hasn't Hit Me Yet. They also have a raucous cover of the Bee Gee's To Love Somebody. Otherwise, Try is certainly great, but there's also What Am I Doing Here, Side of the Road, Diamond Mine, and dozens more I could suggest.

Blue Rodeo was my 80's teen soundtrack. They are amazing live.

They synthesize blues (BLUE), and country (RODEO) with elements of rock and pop to produce a unique sound. I personally love the entire song, including what they do with the guitar at the end.

One the most unique and memorable guitar solos I've ever had the pleasure to hear. Love this song. The harshness of that solo is what I find appealing, a juxtaposition to what is a very sweet song leading up to it.

I'm Canadian n i love everything this band puts out ,but yes i agree 💯 about the end of that song i don't remember that part at all ,im a little confused about that ,but glad u enjoyed it ,n should check out "tragically hip" there "rock"

The two main musicians for Blue Rodeo have very different sounds and styles. Cuddy is more of the country/ballad type singer while Keillor is a rocker/bluesy guy. The guitar solos are all Keillor.

Big Blue Rodeo fan. Love seeing them live by lake Ontario every summer. Check out the songs Diamond Mine, Rebel, How Long, and Hasn't Hit Me Yet. I COULD GO ON...

Their genre is a triple threat. It's best described as folk rock country. Originally, they aspired toward punk. This could explain some of the guitar shred present in some of their tracks.

I can echo many of the comments here, BR has their own style and sound that can't really be set in one specific genre or style and it often varies from record to record also. A few of their songs (check out Diamond Mine) have a sort of free style feel as the crescendo and pace builds. Other songs worth a listen are Try, Bad Timing, Hasn't Hit Me Yet, Lost Together, Falling Down Blue, Bulletproof... I could list a million more but Ill leave it at that for now. Cheers from Canada

I'm with you, bro I love to hear a good harmonica being played, sings to my soul. I haven't heard a lot of "BR's" work but what I have heard I've always enjoyed listening too. But then I love the "Americana sound" it's so distinctive. Here's another song by "Blue Rodeo - Bad Timing (Official Video)" and if you enjoy listening to this genre, then check out this artist who is also Canadian. lol 😄 "Colter Wall - Bob Fudge (Ian Tyson) - 2019-03-25 - Copenhagen Vega, DK" Those darn Canadians can sure produce some really great artists...can't they. I know I love listening to quite a few. lol 😆👍

To my knowledge, don't think I've ever heard any song of theirs, I love Americana so it's up my alley. Very good sound indeed. Yea the guitar towards the end was a little weird....well different than what I like. Cheers.

"Bad Timing” a Blue Rodeo favourite. if you’re looking for more Canadian bands, may I suggest, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings “If I had a Rocket Launcher", City and Colour "Meant To Be" Skydiggers "A Penny More” Canadian bands don’t fit into the music industry slots as many bands mix, rock, blues, pop and kitchen music into thier sound.

This has been one of my favourite Blue Rodeo songs since it was first released. Now don't get me wrong, I love it, but I always felt that the guitar solo near the end doesn't really match the vibe of the rest of the song.
