I am always happy with your recipes did add a half cup of fresh cranberries to my batter with the blueberries and some raw sugar on top. Baked them in the bigger muffin cup tin.....so good.
I just made the muffins half hour ago. They are not too sweet and taste delicious!!!! The streusel topping really makes these muffins taste great and look like those we buy the bakery shop. Thank you so much for your recipe.
Oh my gosh! I've been looking for this recipe for over two years after having this at a party. They weren't made into muffins, but a large cake & didn't know what they were called! But these are it!! Yay! Love your recipes so much!! Thanks!! :)
I 've made them last week and they were a hit among family and friends, so crumbly, soft and full of balanced flavors. They are better than Starbucks blueberry muffins! The sablee technique produces the best results in the crumb, being light and fluffy, it's definetely a keeper!
Hey Steph! Thanks for sharing another lovely recipe. I just tried them, and came out wonderful even with margarin. They grew pretty in size and kept a lovely shape. I personally really love lemon, so added double the amount of zest and some teaspoons of lemon juice instead of that amount of milk, and the lemon taste is a lot more dominant than I expected - delicious! Just wanted to give people a heads up on when they check if they're done with a pick - try not to poke a berry, cause your pick will come out stained everytime, and you'll end up burning the bottom of your cupcakes a bit like I did cause I thought they're not done :)
it was superb, the cubes of butter does the wonder.i always used to melt the butter first and mix in with flour and sendup with dry muffin but your trick does it perfectly. thank you!
Just happened to stumble across this recipe mAde them today and they are literally the best blueberry muffins I ever made my husband loves them was gonna try almond milk but didn't next time I think I will thank you for all the wonderful recipes I hadn't baked in years and thanks to your videos I'm baking regularly again love the way you demonstrate makes it so easy to copy
This is going to be my favorite! Super easy to follow instructions. Plus, all ingredients in cups and grams, and even the temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius, which is so awesome. Thanks a lot! Oh I forgot they taste great as well.
I don't know if anyone will ever read this but I just made them. Turns out, I was out of 2% milk, so I had to end up using Vanilla Almond Milk(Unsweetened) and it still turned out just as good!
Hi Joy Well here it is the new year and I decided to bake your muffins today. They are amazing...Thank you so much for the step by step instructions on this and all your recipes I love them...Wishing you and your family all the best for 2015. Pat
Hi, Stephanie! I just baked these very scrumptious blueberry muffins. They're sooooo perfect! Not too sweet, just perfect! Very tender crumbs and the streusel was a perfect addition! New subbie here! Please keep those goodies coming! Thank you very much!
I am a college student and I am just now learning to cook. I tried making some carrot muffins earlier (from a recipe I found online) and, admittedly, they came out terribly! I looked up your carrot muffin recipe and followed your video for a second attempt. The muffins came out wonderfully. You are my life saver. I can't stop making muffins now that I have found your recipes. I'm about to try this one in just a few minutes. Thank you so much! I may just survive college now that your recipes are teaching me to cook!
Hi Joy ive seen some people add oatmeal to the strossel? ( i dont know how to spell that :-!) and even some like sugar crystals? What is your opinion? Will they taste better or should i pass on this idea?
Can I use canned berries/peaches/cherries in light syrup in your recipes? Berries are impossibble in here, except strawberries which are seasonally rare and very expensive. Also are mangoes available in your area? And if you have recipe for them bcoz thats what we have here. Thank you Ms Stephanie.
Hi Stephanie, I just ran out of milk. Can I sub 1 cup of milk for 1 cup of full fat sour cream? I saw on your website that sour cream would be a good substitute for buttermilk, but not regular milk. I don't mind the tang from the sour cream, so I thought I would use up the leftover sour cream I have. If I can substitute, is there any changes to the leavening agents that I would have to make? Thanks!
Remind me... for your recipes, are you weighing the flour or spoon and levering to get the 3 cups? Or just scooping and leveling? Just want to match your method so they come out right, thx! 😊
HelloI enjoy your show love your muffins blueberry. I find mine when all the ingredients are put together it is somewhat dry and I follow to the T . They crumble on me should I add more liquid? keep cooking a fellow Nova Scotian
I had made this and it tastes good. The only problem is my streusel was smaller than yours and it was falling apart from the muffin. Well, quite much amount of streusel was dissolved. . How can i make them be stuck on the muffin like yours ? Did i push them on the top?
I used this recipe in the really big cupcake tins. The muffin was delicious, but I had to cook it 20 minutes longer than the smaller tins. My theory is in using frozen wild blueberries there was a high water content. Next time I will rinse and dry the blueberries and see if it works out. My Mother loves being my guinea pig, lol
I made this today and my family loved it! Can you make a recipe of Eton Mess bar with shortbread crumb base! I had it at whole foods and have been dying to find a recipe. Thanks!
Can we make the batter and streusel mix a day or two ahead and store in the refrigerator until we're ready to bake them? That would help greatly during holiday dinner seasons.
Dear Mrs. Jaworski: It is hard to find blueberries in Venezuela. Can I use blackberries or Strawberries? By the way, my chocolate cupcake frosting came out amazing!!!! thank you very much
Hi Ms. Stephanie! My Mom sent me some dried blueberries and I was wondering if I can use it for this recipe? I'm from Southeast Asia and we don't have bleuberries here. Thanks in advance! :)
