I like this video, everything but the absence of Graham. Hard to say. His absence and the band's reliance on the bass and drum work really shaped the sound of this album. It probably would have been very different.
With no disrespect to Graham, it wouldn't be one of your favourite albums anymore if he contributed because this album only sounds the way it does because Damon had full control.
One of the surprising facts of the Blink 182 self-titled album (2003) was inspired by this album, Tom was very inspired by this album which made Blink 182 writing the lyrics more serious and focused on the 2003 Iraq War.
This album brought me back to Blur, and is probably my favorite Blur album now. Didn't realize it was without Graham Coxon though. Glad they have all made up. ;-)
It was an amazing performance. Technically perfect, even artistically perfect, they were lacking Graham and you can feel it in the air, paradoxically that amounted on a lot of feeling poured into the concert, feeling of loss, but feeling anyway.
Only thing I could have done without the female backing vocals. Better without them. And Trimm Trabb could have used the distorted guitars earlier in, where they usually are in the studio version. One of my favorite parts of the song
