Excellent! Thanks for talking time to record this! It was not easy to record and work at the same time, but you did it. I love the third hand trick using the ratchet strap anchored to the front rim of the car . Very cleaver my friend! Job well done!! 👊🏾
Major NOTE on the F10 models ::: If you have the basic model, your car's surpentine belt is smaller and only uses the Tensioner pulley & one (1) belt pulley. If your car is the M - Sport model then you have Dynamic & Adaptive Drive and uses a larger belt because it uses a Tensioner pulley & two (2) different type pulleys!
Hey @Marty09933 its me again buddy do you know on how to change a serpentine belt and a alternator on a bmw 535i 2010? Anyways thanks for all your help! You are just simple amazing
Great video. I recently had my 2011 535i tensioner rattling like a rattlesnake, I believe it made some king squeaking sound when the car was cold, anyhow I change the tensioner with a new serpentine belt from a mechanic shop but I believe I might have gotten hustled as the new tensioner is still rattling. Is it suppose to stand still or the rattle is normal?
Ben T. It shouldn’t be squeaking and it moves very little. I changed mine twice and the first time it still made noise for about an hour that it went away thanks for watching
Hi Josue Barrios I bought it from FCP Euro lifetime warranty ….www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwi0rIvv1KbzAhXbKK0GHSd5DLQYABAbGgJwdg&ae=2&ohost=www.google.com&cid=CAASEuRoaxYPl9_pAk2xX9pMHjeraw&sig=AOD64_2pqktpO1pQQV2B0rFI1J6tnKT1Og&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwi8y4Pv1KbzAhWHup4KHXYED-AQwg96BAgBEEU&adurl=
Mine it shakes , moves is that normal. Also I hear clunk noise it comes from the belt or the belt tensioner, do you think could be the belt tensioner or something else
@@198888joshua it’s probably the belt tensioner get a good one from FCP Euro I had to replace mine like five times ….www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwj3vLjAwaDzAhWXc28EHSAHCawYABAFGgJqZg&ae=2&ohost=www.google.com&cid=CAASE-RoBnDRLRwdL-fKpBdUDVWGgHE&sig=AOD64_2uxJRElbY8EDS-76DeP1Tl5XTyjw&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwjblq7AwaDzAhVUl2oFHYIJD4IQ8w56BAgBECQ&dct=1&adurl=
You think I can do myself, I have done control arms , axles, transmission fluid change, differential flui change, but never done this , I have the tools , my cars is Bmw f10 xdrive 2013
I have a 535i xDrive with dynamic drive and the power steering pump is full of power steering oil. I want to pull it out to rebuild it. Manuals say, I should take out the ac-compressor out first. But I do not want to do that, because I do not have the machinery and the experience to empty and recharge the AC-System. Is there a way to take out the pump without pulling the Ac-Compressor? Thank you!
RU-vid-User9999 lm not sure of your setup but I’ve done work on several car and sometimes you can unbolt the a/c compressor and just move it out of the way and have access to the pump . You don’t have to undo the hose leave them connected
@@Marty09933 mine is from 2012 :) It would be great, Thank you I have done a lot of work on my car: cleaned intake manifold ,replaced valve gasket, front + rear brakes, water pump, oil-change etc. but this is on another level 😂
Hi my friend I just did mine , I change the bet tensiones and the belt serpentine, I bought the belt tensioner I replace it but it still shake little less than before but still does , is that normal or the belt tensioner is defective, it’s brand new original Bmw it cost me 150
Yeah you right, I bought from fcp euro they give lifetime warranty , oh I try to replace the pudley but there is two metal lines in the way but I chek they look fine.
Hi Sergio Muto hope you get this message I can’t bring your name up sorry . But yes it’s probably your water pump and thermostat. Yes thermostat might be good but water pump out I’ve done lotta water pumps and the thermostats have been good hope that helps you good luck
Hello, thanks for the video but I need help with the right belt number as the one that was installed on 2010 535i GT is making the tensioner to make noise. Can you help help with the right belt details or link where I can buy it. Thanks.
Hi Teme Jumbo your welcome. Try FCP Euro . If you still have problems .What I do is go to O’Reilly parts store or any part store that will let return the belt if not right one and try the next smallest size till I get the right one .
