I are continuing on the removal of the cylinder head. The next step is removing the intake and exhaust camshafts. Inspecting the intake and exhaust bearing caps is also very important. I will show you how to remove the intake camshaft and exhaust camshaft using the BMW special tool and go over what to do if you do not have the tool.
I am also removing the HVACs hydraulic valve actuators from the camshaft carrier.
This step is in preparation for doing a valve job after removing the cylinder head and sending the head out to be machined level again.
