To all you people hating on this guy, i should point out that BMW won two championships running a special DOHC version of the M10 putting out around 1300 hp. Stop hating on this guy and his car. BMW already proved the BMW E21 is certainly capable of handling racing at these power levels, even if it was a professionally prepped factory race car nearly 40 years ago. This was the first 3-series, and this little car killed it on the race track four decades ago. Stop hating on facts and take your bullshit elsewhere.
:S theyre not hating on the e21 or e30 chassis. its just too much power above 700 HP the older bmws become less drivable in terms of grip and traction on the track which is what they were built for. cant even go around a simple corner without losing traction
@@Puuha1 Exactly ! just like that i made of a 1978 Chey Camaro powered by a 454 cid twin turbo charge and an electric super charge for a few seconds just to covering turbos delay . A couple of 305/50/15 were burning out generally and lived only for 2 months ! But i cant explain how it will make you crazy
Ahhhh... nothing beats that S54 straight 6. And you just upped it to 11! Very jealous. I love my stock S54, but would mind one boosted to 1000hp that's for damn sure hahaha! Awesome car, ever more awesome engine.

Yeah, that is why I made this channel. I hate driving video wasted by music. It will come another film of this shortly with vanos enabled... unfortunately he had a minor crash in 110 MPH and have to rebuild the front.. but with active vanos and 850whp it will one hell of a ride..!! Torque like a V8..
He had problems with bad cam timing witch ment the turbo spooled up late. If he had trown in 4. gear it would have sagged off and by the time the boost was up again he had to brake. Hence the throttlepumping instead of upshift ;) But we'll make another film this year with active vanos and MUCH more driveability!
I'm not sure what you mean.. Cam timing was very wrong. This was corrected afterwards. Torque is often lower than max output on high power per liter engines with high rev limiter/steap cam profiles. It doesn't get any better with vanos-delete and wrong camtiming.
Thanks. This is what i made this channel for. Conveying 100% (close too at least) pure hardcore (primary BMW) turbo for the hardcore enthusiast. I'll rather keep my vids brutal than fancy and professional. You'll never watch a 1000hp car because it's professional :)
I hope that someday this car will also have the double exaust. Because the E21 323i has got 2 exausts. It looks so much better that having a single pipe at the rear.
Unfortunaly he crashed the car, but it will be rebuildt for next year with completly new 1200hp+ engine. And yes... THAT will be quite something.. !! Other drift videos is around the corner, i have three lined up for next week. The blue 1 series 800hp trashing rear tires bigtime.. S54 turbo sound is on it's way :)
Do you have any idea, what it is like in a 1000hp car? It's impossible to do it "smoothly". When the turbo kicks in, you can't just push it further or you will lose all grip.
Custom suspension setup. 5 lugs is correct. I believe it an array of different E28/E36 and E46 parts. The front subframe is also radically customised. Look at this video, 9 minutes in aprox. There you can see all the build pictures :) BMW E21 EXTREME S54 TURBO 1000whp
The problem is not with the car. The Torque units are in Nm, if they were in lb ft, they would meet 5252. And me and the other idiot, didn´t saw that! Great car!
yeah i know but i wanna know what fuel it is running, 9.0:1 CR hitting 2 bar boost its kinda high for normal pump gas RON95~97, i wonder is it +ethanol for the car

The video states that it has 1000 rear wheel horse power at 29 PSI and 830 rear wheel horse power at 19 PSI, and they used 19PSI on the video so why does the title say 1000 rwhp when it only had 830 rwhp on the video?
nitrotrigger When a magazine do a feature, do they write in the title witch power the engine currently is setup at, or how much it produces at top boost? Usually the latter, and hence the I put the dynosheet. The car gives a demonstration of what kind of power it has.
i would estimate that somewhere between 300hp-400hp is where the threshold of power is that you'd start to experience tire spinning characteristics from a roll . Still it would be manageable on the streets. Plus you can always turn boost down a tad if your not game for that type of fun.
Sean Sullivan the s54 is 340bhp standard, mounted in a z4m in doesn't spin at all and could definitely handle a lot more (in the dry of course) in this video he's drifting on purpose obviously.
That's one hell of a car, but sorry to say not so good driving. Just shift up and control the curve. You have the power of 3 normal drift cars so use it ;) All tho I hope you enjoy the best motorsport out there, just find out the car and FEEL IT!! ;)
