@DEADmetal3 More than 7.000 were build, but I don't know how many of them have Euro spec and how many have US spec. When I traveled to the US I saw many M3 sedans, in Germany it's more rare than a Ferrari.
couldn't agree more... the 3.0 e36 m3 is the better/quicker car... my old 3.0 made 308 bhp on a rolling road day when the majority of 3.2s present were making 290-300..
did not know it was down to weight, surely coupe is lighter, even said should it not be down to about a hundrenth of a sec?? CSL is only 0.5 sec quicker than the norm, hardly worth the extra 15k or so?
Wrong wrong wrong. The 3.2 is much more fun and a much better engine!! The 3.2 also better for circuits because of the oil canals in the engine. The 3.0 can not drive for long time a lot of corners to the right or left, the oil runs to one side to much. But hey, be free to buy 3.0😃
@@miljororforsprakpartiet290 wanna try? I owned them both, the 3.2 is also above 5000 rpm faster. I'm stil sad i don't have them anymore, the 3.0 broke and i sold the 3.2. I wanna bet for lots of money the 3.2 is also faster above 5000 rpm.
@@MESSI.HANDPLAYER Thanks, would love to when i have cash for one. 3.2 is obviously better (updated model) but unsure if the tradeoff is worth vs a more fun engine. May be wrong, though, never even sat in one tbh.
@@miljororforsprakpartiet290 they are expensive indeed, thats the reason i don't own one now🤣🤣. I just keep it with my crappie e46 330i, also car for work f20 120d. And my baby. A bmw e30 325i coupe, type one. E30 is my love🤣🤣🤣❤️
I had a m3 not Evo 1 and I would say the m3 Evo has just the edge only JUST. But if u have a healthy 3 liter and have it with a Evo m3 your proberly win because the vanos is proberly fucked on the m3 Evo
Just to let you all know. The 3.2 litre was for the US market and only made 240hp due to US emission regulations. My 330d does that with a bit more torque, 195Nm more torques.
no you are wrong in eurpoe there were 2 m3s one 3.0 and one 3.2 in the us there was the 3.2 bzt actually it was just an m50 with an more agressive cam and a bigger bore
BoostedWolfie.. What shit are you talking.. The 2 cars racing are euro speck? The 3.0L is roughly 286hp and the 3.2 is 321.. The us engine was the biggest load of balls ever, it was a different block, didn't have individual throttle bodies and you couldn't out then in because of the oil filter housing and there was a lower compression ratio.. The Americans can't make a good economical engine with power. And they shouldn't even try.. Up the German engineering..!
@M3POWERVIDEOS haha even with ONLY 243 hp in the us s52, the euro s50b32 is only .2 seconds quicker...i bet if the us spec engine had 321 hp it would rape the euro spec.
