can somebody help with my question i have central electronics failure but micro control module is not fried kbm is not fried or water damaged tried disabling few fuses like radio klima , pdc and windshield wipers then if i do that car runs ok for hour or 2 then if i connect back all fuses back in about 2 minutes time i get immediately central electronics failure so what is problem here, i have 2 batteries one new one is used same problem with both alternator voltage when running car is 14.5v to 15v , car is bmw e63 630i
triplex triplexxx ok, had similar, but also lots of other faults, I changed the SGM module, did not help, turned out to be the screen , bad solder in the contact to the circuitboard in the screen. But I saw rhere was 18 revisions to the SGM module so probably good to have it changed .
@@stefanmagnusson6803 it can be because of any module on kcan network , bmw ista d helps , and disconnecting 1 by 1 module untill error is gone, that is how i diagnosed it
triplex triplexxx good info to have the next time something brakes down. In my case it was impossible to do as you say, becuse the problem was intermittent, no codes gave any lead , and disconnecting the screen is not possible . It was just luck that we found it. I am chocked that the screen could cause so many problems, the early revisions of the system is not well made.
